i was thinking of taking hydrocodone tomrow morning and adderal
tommorow night. i know that would be a bad idea if you took them
together but how long do you think you would have to wait between
taking them for it to be safe?
Strictly speaking, Hydro is a painkiller not a downer. Opiates have some of the effects of downers, but they really aren't downers (which include benzos, alcohol and barbiturates). That's why people "speedball" with heroin/cocaine, the two don't directly interfere with each other.
I wouldn't worry at all, as long as one or the other has worn off. 4 to 6 hours for Hydro, not sure on the adderal.
I'd personally go further and say mixing uppers/downers is usually not a problem (how many people drink alky while doing coke, almost everyone... mixing 2 downers is far riskier) but since you're worried about safety I'd just make sure you're not buzzed on both at the same time.Edited by: Nicaine
