i have nothing to do and i was just reminded of my experimentation
mixing alcohol and pot so i thought i would share. since no1 else has

1: probably the worst... got quite drunk...then was offered weed and
can't exactly remember anything until i woke up to someone having sex

tons and tried to forget the whole thing... never tried to file charged

2: hotel party. drank a lot of vodka and must have forgotten incident
#1 b/c i continued to smoke a considerable amount of weed. came back to
my house with 2 friends... all i remember is waking up to see the
ceiling spinning and a friend trying to get me to throw up in a trash

Believe it's the alcohol causing the problem not the weed or the combo...
I enjoy smoking weed when I'm drinking with no ill effects. I kind of crave it like I do smokes when I'm drunk. Also though I tend to smoke weed daily so it's not like it's something I'm not used to and have a high tolerance for...

When I am quite drunk, if I add even a small amount of pot into the
mix--the room will start to spin and then I will throw up. For some
reason, it is not so bad if I smoke weed first, probably because by the
time I am drunk the pot will have worn off.
The problem is that I will avoid pot while drinking, but if I get too
drunk I stop caring/have less self-control. Then, if there are spliffs
going around I will smoke them and get sick.
Actually, this has only happened to me a few times. I don't usually get drunk.
This morning I had a bit of Vodka and Tequila, then I took a cigar and removed a bit of tobacco, and I stuffed some weed inside (leaving some tobacco left in it), just a few puffs and I nearly fell backwards. Sitbck is right though it sounds like more of the alcohol then anything.

I've always believed weed and alcohol to be a dreadful mix. I've witnessed two friends of mine, both of whom could take large quantities of alcohol or weed separately, being reduced to gibbering, puking sorry wrecks by taking the two simultaneously. They both vowed never to try that combination again!

never mixed well for me either. Yet, somehow I do it everytime and always end up passed out on the floor or with my head in my hands.
Getting high before or early on in drinking isnt that bad though because then you are able to controlyour messedupness a little.

i love it. of course too much alcohol will make you sick and stupid but
iv'e found that in the case of people who generally do stupid tihgns
when theyre drunk are a little more chilled out if they are smoking as
well.

sounds like you just drank way too much alcohol. I find mixing
weed and alcohol intensifies each other. So i can drink 6 beers
over the course of the night, and smoke 1 bowl, but i feel as if ive
drank an entire fifth and smoked like 4 or 5 bowls. I find its
the best and most efficient way to get fucked up. Especially if I
keep the alcohol consumption under control, like 6 drinks or
less. Because of the inevatable dry mouth and munchies i always
put food and drink into my stomache - making me wake up feeling
great. Not even a trace of hang over.

the only time i will mix weed with booze is when i drink beer.. a 6 pack of beer with a couple joints and i feel great. liquor is prolly why your feeling so bad. go with a 6 pack of zima or skyy or some crap like that..

Drinking and pot is a good combo to me, but it depends on how wasted you get, which you got pretty wasted http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif ! Just got to be careful and make safe choices (and know your boundries) because ending up puking or forgetting the night is pointless.

Most of my experiences with mixing the two are not good ones for the simple reason of drinking to much. This usually happened when i was younger and would drink just to get drunk off my ass. THC is known to enhance the effects of any other drug you are taking so naturally if your drunk off your ass toking upwill magnify these effects. At first, for me, it would feel good with some really cool visuals and everything, but the negatives like vomiting, the spins, severe loss of motor control would quickly set in. I can see how this would be dangerous for a young woman in a social setting.
So now, i only toke occationally now anyways, a few beers with a hoot feels just fine. Alcohol is a very powerful drug and the evil one of the combo in my opinion. If you mix, toke all you want,just ease up on the booze.

Im the same way as motor head, Altho lately if i start with a few beers then smoke a nice joint ill tend 2 not drink anymore cuz my mind tells me im fucked and if i drink more ill puke. I've always found that smoking when I drink stops me from getting sick.
We all know there's a difference between feeling queasy, and getting
that "Suprise! You're about to projectile vomit everywhere!" feeling.
With the former, smoking will generally help it subside.

mty brother was telling me, whenever he gets drunk, likeat a party, if
he smokes a bowl he kinda sobers up. he can hold his composure better.

When ever i get nice and drunk i like to smoke a bowl, the thing is you cant rip it to hard or you will puke, and your gag reflex is much lower when your drunk. A nice blunt or bowl and you should be all set.

Weed and booze can be interesting in low dosses of both. However this combination can turn nasty really fast and lead to lots of sickness.

A few beers or glasses of wine whilst you smoke can be very pleasant, but smoking when you are already drunk can be OK for seasoned smokers but really nauseating for most.
New to this forum but have smoked weed for a few years. If your new to weed i'd say alcohol is a big no no. However I always find 1 or 2 glasses of red wine mellows me out a lot more. The problem is knowing when to stop! (once your mashed all you want to do is get even more mashed!!)Also found that alcolol is really dodgy with resin but crappy brown makes me ill anyway. In my opinion alcohol is fine as long as it's beer or a bit of wine, anything stronger and you'll end up in situations like the above posts. Also a lot of the time drinking can be just something to so whilst stoned. Make sure you have plenty of food and sweeties!

about the greening out thing i have never done that once in my lifeeven after smoking a half ounce in my bathroom with 2 friends and having around 5 oil hotknives each before that. 1 of my friends did "green out" just after the 5 oil hks which is why only 2 of the 3 friends smoked the halfounce in the bathroom. none of us greened out after smoking the oil and the half ounce where the 1 did after just the oil hoots, he was a regular pothead too. i think it depends alot on the person though also, not only there biochemistry, tolerance, or body size but just the ability to shake any sickness or bad feelings off until they pass. i learned to do this well with dxm, always gave me bad bad nasea for 5-10 mins for some reason at a certain point in the trip just once, it was a kind of mind over matter situation which can help me alot when im drinking sometimes.
as for saying they cant accept this in that order chemically i dont think thats true either, mabey less thc is absorbed than normal but i doubt it hinders the ability of the thc receptors. i once heard that they fight for an enzyme i cant remember what it was called and it somewhat lessens the effects of both or somethin. where did u hear it cant be chemically accepted by the body in that order?? a link or anythin?
smoking before in my opinion as soon as the booze kicks in it totally kills the effects of pot. i enjoy smoking it while drunk tho because it intensifies my drunk quite a bit while i smoke it and gives me a stoned feeling too just not nearly as much as if i just smoked the pot. still overall worth it tho i always make sure i at least got a joint, and at leasthalf a pack of smokes.
i think smokingright before is a waste sort of, if i smoke before itll be a couple hours before im gonna startdrinkin to keep me by till that time comes.

i love mixing alcohol with pot, i have had bad experiences doing this but only when i drink too much, i find that if u only drink 5 or 6 beers, u can smoke as much as u want and be fine

alc and weed are like the yin and the yang.... i mean sure they are cool apart but.... dont u like to get messed up?
if i feel like i have to puke while drinking i will smoke 2 or 3 bowls, and that helps the sickness. I've also notice that pot is one of the best cures for a hangover.
Pot and alcohol combined has a strong tendency to lead to memory blackouts so be careful, smoking first also tends to lessen the desire to drink. The rape incident you mentioned is unfortunate, take care.

I guess you are totally right. One might also remember alcohol is a depressant. It starts depressing such things as inhibitions so you go animal party, but then it depresses your motor sistem and can dead you tocoma. THC can be ambiguous and work as an exiter or a depressant or a psichedelic deppending on individual and circunstances, but it might surely boost the depressant effect of alcohol hen mixed. Probably only very usual smokes can stand a big dose of both alcohol and pot. So I would´t recommend it for anyone who is not looking for getting wasted.

and i usually end up blazing when im drunk. Weeds kind of not a drug
anymore....
BTW, ive never EVER vomited whilst using this combo... or doing any drug for that matter... NO JOKES.

A little alcohol, 2-3 drinks, and lots of weed is OK.
A lot or excess of alcohol followed by weed is unpleasant/disorienting for many people.
Actually, not to get off topic, but being very drunk and taking any
drug afterwards is dangerous, and can be deadly depending on the drug.
My usual personnal preference is to do my drug first, then partake of alcohol if I want it in a slow and orderly fashion.
Being stumbly drunk then downing lots of kava, or poppy head tea (for
example) would be a stupid and possibly deadly thing to do. Drink
poppy head tea sober, then after waiting 90 minutes to see how the
effects are, then enjoying a glass of wine, two on a dare, is
nice. Follow that up with a joint and I'm comfortably numb.

A very good combo for me is to drink enough so no way can you walk a
line but you can stay off the ground if that makes sense, then smoke a
few bowls of good weed. Never gotten the spins or sick from doing
it like that. A+ experience.
I think the only time I've thrown up on drugs was when I was so drunk I
had to slide myself to bed. I'd take almost any other pain over
nausea/vomiting.
I like mixing more than I like pot by itself, have a long night of drinking then get home and smoke a bowl and just chill with your friends the rest of the night

Swim LIKES this combination. Swim finds that it makes the alcohol feeling much more pleasant and LESS dizzy. also, Swim feels that it is much easier to concentrate and there is less of a 'hangover' feeling afterwards. it made the entire high (compared to alcohol alone) much more enjoyable to Swim.
Swim HAS mixed just alcohol and MJ before, but usually likes to mix the MJ with blue lotus, and salvia 10x. Swim's not sure if those other 2 substances produce the less negative effects of not?
either way, Swim has never found any negative effects with mixing alcohol and MJ, just those 2, or with other things as well.

I'm very surprised by the number of negative experiences posted about this combo. I personally nearly always have a VERY good time, moreso than if I had just smoked or just drank.
The key is definately moderation though, as many have already stated. Get too high or too drunk (especially being too drunk) and it will easily turn into a potentially very unpleasant experience.
I find that 6 drinks or less mixed with a bowl of good weed gives a great experience.
SWIM loves alcohol and weed. However, he likes to drink with pretty much every drug. As long as you don't drink too much the combo is fine.
Too much booze, though, and you'd better get used to the sight of the toilet bowl.

Two tries mixing shots with smoking, neither came out well. Boring and weird, with strange body load.
Might try smoking first and then drinking soon.
swim can smoke then drink but never drinnk (alot) then smoke.
SWIM likes few things better than getting battered and then smoking a fatty, but then again SWIM has a stomach of steel and is used to high impact smoking.

If monkey is super faded and then smokes it's hit or miss as to whether it will agree with him. If he has a couple beers, smokes, then continues drinking it is a thing of beauty.
