I'm considering using Calm-U Tablets for it's Diphenhydramine, but in
order to do 480 mg of Diphenhydramine, I would need to put 3750 mg of
Salicylamide into my system. Does anyone know if this will harm or kill
me?

So long as you have no problems with your liver or are taking other compounds countaining salicylates(aspirin) or acetominophen(paracetomol) you should be o.k.. Max recommended dose over 24 hours is 4g(4000 mg) so you're close to the cut off. Please do the math on how much salicylate/paracetomol you've taken in the last 24 hours and don't exceed the max dose - salicylate poisoning can lead to a long and painful death if not dealt with promptly. There should be an extraction method on here somewhere - use the Search Engine and remember kids, Google is your friend!Edited by: Micklemouse

Even though it's technically within the limit, that amount is how much
you can take within 24 hours -- taking it all at once is likely to be
quite uncomfortable, and could quite easily give you tinnitus, or
ringing of the ears that goes on and on and can be permanent.
It's unlikely to kill you, but I don't see why you'd risk your hearing
when for $4 you can just go buy some benedryl and avoid the entire
problem... Just because it CAN be done doesn't mean that there
are much easier ways to do it safer.

I was just curious because I have some. The only Benedryl around here is syrup, which is something I hate to drink.

Just for the record, I did the Calm-U and experienced no negative effects.
