"LSD: The Beyond Within"is a BBC Documentary done in the 80s. Among others, it features extensive interviews with Dr. Hofmann and with Ken Kesey - author of "one flew over the cuckoo's nest", who popularized LSD on that crazy bus trip across america (about which thefamous "the electric cool-aid acid test" was written).

It's the most serious documentary work ever carried out on LSD.

80 minutes. very balanced! And very neat - the people interviewed for the film are amazingly articulate, in particularly Ken Kesey and some british Lord who did mescaline on TV once.

Must see for acidheads. Widely available on the eMule P2P software.

I thought it was interesting. The beyond within focuses alot on interviews and stuff. I saw another one called "the history of lsd" wich focused more on what the goverment used lsd for and those things. Both are pretty good.

well on your recommendation i downloaded it, and (despite the fact that the second half cut off 30secs before the end and i had to download another copy) it was very good. really interesting.

i also really liked the bit on mescaline, the clip shown when lord mayhew was given mescaline by humphrey osmond for bbc tv (and then never broadcast) was great. dont suppose anybody knows whether its possible to get a full video of that anywhere?Edited by: billyloner
