5-Me0-EiPT feels very opiate-like to SWIM, but when mixed with sally,
the visuals are otherworldly. There is something reminiscent of a lucid
dream very present in this mix.

Also, SWIM finds tryptamine/entheogen or tryptamine/dissociative combos
amazing. Does anyone else have any 5-MeO-EiPT mixes that are pleasant?
SWIM doesn't care for the RC by itself, but was thinking about a Psilocybe Subaeruginosa/EiPT combo. Sounds like fun (but research still to be done).

would that be 5-methoxy-N-ethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine?

ask Dr Shulgin...

Shulgin is too slow...

I was sending a request to him in Febrary about the 2c-b-piperazine that
came up in the RC shops begging of the year. He still didn't answer.
Can take a while...maybe to many requests.

Yes, 5-methoxy-N-ethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine.

I'm pretty sure Shulgin didn't synthesize it, so it doesn't appear in
most scientific literature and I'm not sure if Erowid has a vault for
it -- yet.

SWIM has been experimenting with it in the 10-20mg range, smoked.
Effects are pleasant, but it really seems to take off when mixed with
something else. I guess I overshot its popularity, because it seems
like no one has heard much about it.

SWIM thinks it's worth looking into.

yes nanobrain, I found a bit...thats what he wrote about:

Question was: "</font>A
company that sells chemical novelties has recently begun selling
something that they call 5-methoxy-N-ethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine. I
have searched the Internet, TIHKAL, and other literature for
it. I can't find mention of it anywhere. Is it psychoactive? If so what
are the effects and what's the dose range?</font></font></span></font>"

Answer:</font>

"I must admit that I am a total stranger to that compound. And I made a
quick search on line of the last few decades of Chemical Abstracts and
it is just possible that it is not even in the scientific literature.
</span></font></font>
</font>

The
same compound with one fewer carbon atoms, the N-methyl-N-isopropyl
homologue I synthesized many years ago, and called it 5-MeO-MIPT. It is
indeed in TIHKAL and I have reported it to be active in the
4-6 milligram range, orally. And the same compound with one additional
carbon atom, the N,N-diisopropyl homologue, is also an old friend which
I had named 5-MeO-DIPT. In TIHKAL its dose is suggested to be
in the 6-12 milligram range. But the N-ethyl is half-way between those
two compounds and I never did get around to making it. </span></font></font>

But
apparently someone else did. My gut feeling would be to call it
5-MeO-EIPT. But as to predicting the active dosage range and its
effects, I would be conservative and cautious. I have been caught more
than once with the easy logic of, "Since this is half way between A and
B as to structure, it will probably be half way between them in potency
as well." Every new compound is a unique entity and must be approached
as the total unknown that it is. Start small. Give time between trials.
And in something that is publicly available, learn everything you can
from other explorers.</span></font></font>
