I have found that with everything else (dont know about LSD &
shrooms), that if I don't feel like it or if I feel bored at that
moment, it won't make me feel much better. But XTC its all the oposite!
Even if I feel like its the most boring day of my entire life, an hour
later and I feel like the morning of Christmas when I was 8 year old!!
Which no other drugs ever did to me. No other drug can make me have fun

I found that ghb sucks when done strait. But after an ecstasy trip,
it transforms that hates-up feeling into the most pleasurable moments.
And if by any chance you have a partner at that time, I found that
every touch done to my body feels like an orgasm by itself!!</span>

I think giving a straight answer would be disingenuous. Who I am and what I'm into changes from day to day and hour to hour, so my preferred drug will change. Nor would I like to associate myself with any one drug, because variety is the spice of life.


At one timemy favourite drugwas ecstasy, and I'd say the most blissful drug experiences of my life (++++ on Shulgin's scale) have come from ecstasy. At the moment, LSD is my 'drug of choice'. Ask me in a month and I'll probably say mescaline.I can't say I'm that impressed with DMT.

Mescaline, for me, is hands down the best thing I've ever taken.Nothing compares to that. It really, really "takes you" somewhere else...just like the Don Juan stories.


LSD is truly wonderful. I've taken it...well...an awful lot, especially in the early '70's.


Mushrooms are simple awesome. What I used to do was combine Shrooms with LSD. I'd take about a 3/4th hit of each together. I found the Shrooms took some of the "electric charge" away from the LSD and the LSD took some of the yawns and physical sluggishness away from the Shrooms. For me, it was just a super combination.


I do love XTC. Some say it gets old. It never has for me.


I really like 2c-e and 2c-i. I've had the universe play really fun games with me while on 2c-i


4-ho-mipt is also really nice...like Shrooms but really "clean."


2c-c is a nice one for a short trip when I just want to feel "gratitude" for being alive and part of everything. I especially like to take it at night and be outside in the dark looking at the stars. I live way out in a rural area on a piece of land with a year-round creek. I stay quiet, stop thinking and just experience everything around me while on 2c-c. It helps me feel connected to all there is. I know some people diss it, but I think it is really nice for a short trip without any body load. It is something you can be social on...easily. But I don't prefer that. I prefer being totally quiet and just receiving...for me it is best that way.


Salvia is sweet, short, and intense. Even in its intensity, it has a totally benevelent feel about it. I love the quick trajectory and "popping" through to the other side...yet the duration is short.

For me depends on my mood, if its sunny and nice outside and i read
something cool and trippy i feel like lsd or shrooms but if im going
for the night life then E and/or alchahol (i know mixing is bad) for
me E is probably the most stimulating and i feel awesome and
partly invincible ( the number of fights i have gotten in on E is
pretty high) but i hate how other people talk so fast when they roll.
Cannabis is the best of all, goes with any drug and byitself

I can't imagine XTC making anyone aggressive. I know the majority of things being sold as XTC are a mixture. I recently read a breakdown of all the tablets or capsules sold as XTC that were tested during the entire year of 2004. I believe I read that on Erowid...not totally sure that was where I read it 'cause I go to lots of sites...BUT, the breakdown was very interesting.


50% of all stuff sold as XTC was a mixture of XTC and Meth. There were various other mixtures of MDMA and other things as well. Some didn't have any MDMA at all. Only about 15% were pure MDMA.


So, I'd have to wonder if what you took Completion was mixed with Meth...'cause that can make many folks aggressive.


I don't have anything but a fully connected and loving experience on MDMA. And, I like at least 150mgs of it...180mgs even better. When I do come across XTC, I make sure I get the straight answer about whether they are pure or whether they are "cheaters." I've had booze, weed, E, coke, shrooms and salvia and I have had
brilliant experiences with them all, but i'd say in terms of what has
given me the most satisfying and wonderful experience - magic mushrooms
win hands down.



My first pill was mind blowing - I've never felt such a degree of love
and empathy towards everyone and everything around me (the side effects
are a tad annoying though), it was truely incredible BUT the best
experience I had with shrooms blew even this experience out of the
water - I am utterly convinced was the greatest degree of euphoria and
"enlightenment" that I think it is humanly possible to experience (a
definite ++++). Words could never even begin to describe or do justice
to the multi dimensional states of transcendental bliss I experienced
that night and the day after I felt like a new man.



Jury's still out on coke - good for social settings and keeping in control but a little too subtle for me I think



Of course in terms of sheer staying power and the fact it goes well
with pretty much anything in pretty much any situation weed is awesome
(so long as it is not overdone, like anything else). If I was stranded
on an island and I had to pick one drug to accompany me it would almost
certainly be weed. What does everyone else think? What would your
answer be if you had a handful of beautiful ladies (or blokes, sorry
gals ;-)) accompany you?



As for combos: weed towards the end of an MDMA experience for some
reason I find has an extremely good synergy. The high from the weed is
much more powerful and satisfying, you feel really relaxed but not
monged or tired - all in all a great way to end an evening

Certainly a few tokes of weed towards the end of an XTC experience does wonders. As you start to drift down from the peak of E, some KGB is like an updraft...taking your XTC parachute higher and thus prolonging the experience...and it gives it the nicest, softest edge.

This is a tougher question than it looks. Here's SWIM's reply:

* For the first few months, his favorite is oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet). Then it becomes one of his most hated. Long term use is a freakin' nightmare on wheels.

* For binge, or regular/metered (once a week or less) use, it would have to be coca-cola.

* For long term, casual use... nicotine & caffeine. Particularly nicotine... the friend that kills.

* For specialized use at important times... benzodiazepines (Klonopin, Xanax, etc).

* For emotional opening and intimacy (something SWIM's not typically too good at), MDA/MDMA. He's only tried it once tho, mostly due to lack of sources and being a couple generations too old for the rave scene. He'd probably jump at the chance to try it again.

SWIM really dislikes (almost hates) psychedelics, mostly due to some extremely unpleasant experiences earlier in life, likely (unbeknownst to him at the time) involving PCP. Even marijuana is too psychedelic for him. He dislikes alcohol and doesn't even drink beer (on his current psych medications... normally he likes it) and likes antidepressants like Wellbutrin when he's depressed.

As far as satisfying, wonderful experiences in general... SWIM finds that in the long term, there are certain things in life that no drug can ever equal. He suggests trying long term meditation of some sort for a lasting high that comes from letting go of mental obsessions, attachments, etc.Edited by: Nicaine

However, considering that cannabis is more of a psychoactive plant rather than anything else, to choose the greatest synthetic drug, I'm torn between MDMA and LSD. I'm beginning to lean towards acid more recently and I'm starting to really go through all the phases of being a trip-head. For that reason alone I think it's the best. It's more of an adventure!!

The most amazing experience of my life came from amushrooms and passion flower combo. it was something akin to spiritual ecstacy. The enlightened feeling recieved on that trip is still with me today toa degree.


The most healing, and psychologically benificial; Cactus. Although the trip is very mellow, it lasts a long time(8-16 hours w/ maois). It greatly helps you sort through things in your mind. It has helped me dearly.

SWIM would have to say MDA. SWIM and her husband took what they thought to be MDMA the first time, but compared to subsequent pills, it was quite different. Much more of a body roll than a mindset roll. Very sensual, some hallucinations, very dance-y, talking but not nearly as much as subsequent rolls. Subsequent rolls were much mellower, more talky and less dance-y, still sensual. Overall the first one had more of a body feeling, and they would have to say that was their best roll. Several subsequent trips since then have been very similar to each other and dissimilar to the first. Still very enjoyable, but just not the same, so although they don't know for sure, they believe it was MDA that first time.

The best drug ever is oxygen. Without it we wouldn't experience
the trip called life. I haven't done drugs in a while,
but...eversince a life changing candyflip experience and meeting Christ
afterward...every now and then during my everyday life I get that
overpowering feeling of grasping at understanding existance and I feel
an overwhelming awe..almost a trip in itself. I first found this
"newness" of life while candy flipping, E + Cid. If u ask me what
"illicit" chemical was my favorite I could not retort. E was so
focused on my person and relationships of people...while Cid was so
focused on existing and existance...each one has its strength and
weakness to their insights. The most enlightening experience for
me was when the revalations of existance came on cid, and the ability
to apply and understand them came thru E. I realized that I felt
as good as I ever needed to, and what else was I trying to feel
anyhow? Ever grasping at understanding existance (cid), seeing
the good and bad in yourself and humanity and having empathy for all
people struggling to find out as they live to die (e). Together I
think they were my
favorite chemical experience, because ultimately that is what the human
soul desires...to unmask the riddle, and to know that Love for one
another is not just a chemical reaction...but a spiritual one.

mdma used to be great, but the come downs started becoming worse while the peaks seemed to get lower. probably just tolerance, but swim hasn't touched x in nearly 2 years now. he'd probably do it if somebody offered to sell him some, but he doesn't actively search for it.

I liked MDMA best, I know that shroomz and LSD are way better, but I like MDMA very much and this scares me. I like the positive world it brings to you. A world of love, forgiveness, purity and happiness. I know the cost I am paying for this chemical paradise, but I am ready to pay it. I took it a week ago. I have taken it once a year ago but I was alone at home in the night and it wasn't a good experience, although then I realised that I love the girl I'm with now and I am very happy with her. Here are SWIM's top tips:


Take a break from MDMA for a while. Think about the positive experiences it gave you, and try to recall that in your day to day (and mostly drug-free) world.


Save it for a special occasion, something that you'd be happy to do straight, coz it would still be life-enhancing/crazy/spiritual/whatever.


Try and get hold of some MDMA powder. Certainly the pills that SWIM has acquired over the last 6 months have been getting worse and worse.


Change your environment. Rather that munching pills on a big night out, waving your glowstick frantically etc... (and feeling brain dead for the rest of the week!) why not do MDMA in, with a partner/close friends/whatever. The empathy/huggyness/spirituality all comes flooding back when you don't have to deal with inconvenient lights, noises, people/general hecticness and difficult to control temperature issues.


SWIM has also found that her most rewarding MDMA experiences have been solo: That way she doesn't get the anxiety/need to mother everyone around her (whether they're up for mothering or not!)


Finally: The candyflip is your friend. SWIM likes 2 tabs LSD + 150mg MDMA powder. She takes them all at once, but you might like to space the acid out a bit. Glorious visuals/mind and consciousness expanding effect of the LSD and lovely fuzziness/contentment/sense of peace that the MDMA brings. None of the anxiety/paranoia/nausea that SWIM gets when she takes acid alone. SWIM has also tried this combo with ? 60mg ? 70mg of valium (she was feeling disinhibited). Not necessarily recommended but some very interesting out-of-body experiences.


Despite all the other things that SWIM has experienced over the years, she still returns to MDMA. You just have to accept that you're not going to be pill-munching in clubs all your life (well SWIM isn't anyway)

Well, I've taken it only twice and where I live it would be hard to get pure powder, if you don't know someone that makes it. But I have found some great pills, which would do the trick for now. They contain at lest 150 mg and they are completely pure. They made my girlfriend cross-eyed and my eyes weretrembling in a very interesting way. I felt my body wonderfully and the vision was somehow really brightened, but not in the way other psychedelics make it. It was as though someone has turned the brightness of a TV to the heigher levels and it was as though I watch through the eye of a camera. This hasn't happened to me with the other pills I have taken they were much much weaker. Anyway I just wanted to say that they were pretty strong.

I think the most enjoyable experiences were the first few times I did e. But.. the honeymoon is over now.. I've done shrooms few times but they weren't what I was looking for.. or I just didn't dose enough.. Cannabis is a good thing, cuz it can mostly cure all the hangovers caused by other drugs (ecstasy, morning glory, amphetamine etc) and it's own hangover.. is almost non-existing :)

Plus he likes the familiar psychedelic taste of the mushroom, does anyone else actually enjoy their taste? SWIM feels like a strange kid for liking the taste.

He likes the novelty and rapid onset of action as seen with cocaine but he likes the duration and overall intensity of dextroamphetamine just as much..

IV. benzodiazepines) this is painful, I can't pick a favorite benzodiazepine! If I had to pick two, I'd definatly say temazepam and.. hm, alprazolam? or clonazepam? Okay, he'd choose one of the super-potent benzodiazepines and temazepam.

SWIM doesn't have experience on very wide range of drugs, there's many psychedelics to try, but as for now it must be ayahuasca. Even though he tried it at quite low dose(5gr mimosa hostilis) he had amazing time. He feels it's so pure and spiritual that it has to be best.

Mescaline cactus (PT) has been amazing for SWIM. SWIM doesn't get the etherial/dimensional jumping feeling of ayahuasca but taking a stroll in a park on a nice day provides incredibly fun fairy tale-ness (early on in the trip of course).

Most of SWIM's experiences she can't seem to remember too well.
But dextro and levo amphetamine would probably be pretty much at the top of the list. Just makes her so much more sociable and talkative. I'm tempted to roll out a list of psychedelics which have given me such fantastically diverse trips, expanded my mind in god knows what directions - done incredible things.
