What an amazing and inspirational site....you write in about where to score and get a thousand replys yet when you write in about actually getting and staying off the stuff, no-one reply's.

Keep up the good work guys (rolls eyes)

Obviously this site is dedicated to all aspects of drugs, if it was dedicated ONLY to staying clean it would be called Rehab Forum. I realize that drugs can be very dangerous and cause a lot of grief, but I also believe that if usedoccaisionally and responsibly, they can enlightenas well.

I'm sorry but using drugs at all is just stupid and a sure way to die early...if that's what you want out of life...go ahead...all I know is, my life is a lot more enlightening withought drugs.

I refuse to walk quietly through life to arrive safely at death. If you don't like the topics of discussion then why not leave?

You wont get any serious reply's acting like the way you are.Are we supposed to quit what we enjoy to do just because you said so? It's sad what happened to you but some people know how to control it.And people come here to talk about cocaine more than heroin.

Nobody likes to be told what to do.People have to do it on their own. When they realize this thats when they will ask for your help.

Firstly, some (sensible people) actually come here for advice on how to quit....and I hope I can assitst these people.

No I'm not coming of an addiction lol read my post and you would know that

Acting like what? a sensible person who's been there? I know "users" don't like to be told what to do because guess what? I was one.

I don't expect anyone to stop because I say so lol all I'm saying is it would be nice if when someone wrote a story about coming clean and staying that way...they got some replys that congradulate that.

Lastly no-one controls drugs, they control you...the quicker you learn that the better off you will be.

Thankyou for all your reply's

an sorry if I seem bossy or a know it all, it's just that I have been there as many of you have and I know how damaging it can be...I also know that I am so much happier now I'm clean, yes when I was on heroin, I thought I controlled it...for a little while and no I didn't listen to anyone trying to help me either.

I just want to say please be careful :)

This is a forum dedicated to Opiates. You are obviously very uneducated as to the long term consequences of such drugs. Yes, they are very addictive, but many successful individuals have lived their lives addicted to opiods or opiates. The long term effects are minimal, besides addiction, and include impotence, and constipation.

Any Opiate drug has not been proven to "shorten your life", unless of course you OD <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley3.gif">

...or lose all your money on H and decide to start with cheap home-made raw opium perhaps...

I have just gone cold turkey from crack, and it was and is the hardest, most painfull, emotional experience i have ever had to go through, i feel like i will crave for crack the rest of my life and i probably will in some respects. It may not always end your life at a shorter time, but it can ruin your life completlyanyway with out being ended. I wont give you my boring life story but crack has ruined mine, and if i could go back to the day i was first offerd it i would and tell them where to stick it. Crack isnt just dangerous because you can OD or have you life taken from you when it shouldent but because of the mental and physical affects you have to deal while you are still living.

in my opinion, there are users and there are addicts. my addiction stems from my ocd. any drug i use will become an addiction. some can use and not become addicted, granted they may lose their life, but will not become addicted. i know im an addict. it shows in all aspects of my life. and ive lost a lot of everything from my addiciton. im a wreck!
