Lately i been seeing alot of the same question just with different drugs "would it be alright to take (some drug) in school?" i think its Personally the biggest waste tobe on something in school, i mean its only 7 hours where you could be learning something to help you in your future y not just wait til after school,so you won't have to be so parniod that a teacher is going to suspect something orsit in a classroom the whole time. I find it much more enjoyable when i don't have to worry and can be free
i understand if u want to blaze before school on like a half day when your not going to do shit.....but you the hell would u want to trip, i mean to me it just be so uncomfortable and boring

Curtains- I agree with you... True high school is sometimes a bit of a bore, and sometimes it sucks but, it's only 7 hours... I look back on high school and think of how easy it was and how i shoulda paid more attention to what was going on. Now that i'm out i think about all the times that i used to go to school comprimised in someway be it drunk, high.. true i never used to go in trippin balls or anything, thank God i missed enough as is

I believe all the posts asking/talking about doing drugs in school should be sent straight to the garbage bin. Of course it is not up to me, however if they are in school then chances are they are 17 or younger which to be a member of this forum you are supposed to be no younger than 18.

Well, I belive that answer is more difficult to come up with, as we know those years are quite difficult and alien to what we might know. Complex in a way. Many who used to come to school intoxicated did it for a number of reasons, many did not make sense, ill try to remember as my high school years were not far behind me:

1.)"Im around my freinds, my peers, Im not around my family"

2.)"I only feel normal when im high, so i need to be high to feel normal in school"

3.)"My life is horrible, im trying to cope, and I dont care who knows what im doing"

4.)This is my life and I can do what I want"

5.)many kids would like to be more open in school, IE they would like to be as "heard" as the class clown. For popularity, attraction from the opposite sex, whatever. High school kids begin to notice the inhibiting effects of drugs, and self medicate for there social phobias.

6.)Some do it for the excitement of being around many peers and authority figures, without anyone knowing what is going on in there head.

It's a huge risk to take to alleviate boredom for 6 hours or so. I can understand why </span>people want to do this... but I don't agree with it, and would never attempt it (if I was still in school that is).

I think there is a bigger risk to being caught than a lot of people
think. Teachers aren't stupid (contrary to popular belief http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif),
they were young once too. These days they are trained to look for
stuff like this. Plus, the consequences are huge... imagine
getting caught under the influence of an illegal substance and having a
record at such a young age....

I can understand that people would want to do speed every now and then just to become more concentrated, or downers to get rid of anxiety, but psychedelics? Schools can oftenharbor a very oppressive environment which would be greatly amplified by any psychedelic. Sure, it might give you a new perspective on school, but it might be a perspective you were better off without. Psychedelics are also very unpredictable, especially if you're just using them to get "high", you'd have no way of knowing whether you'd get a euphoric or dysphoric trip. Then again, I get very sensitive when tripping.

I hope that people relize that getting caught under the influence of a controled substance (shrooms, speed, meth, etc) on school property or with in 1000ft causes a whole lot more trouble. in the US your punishment is automatically doubled.. and phung is right, teachers arnt dumb, when your geeking out in the back corrner of a class looking like bambi, your deff going to go pay a visit to someone else to check it out.

Sunyata- just imagine being busted while tripping, i'm sure if u got put into the back of a cruiser you'd do some dumb shit. or if your fucked up enough that u pass out or slightly black out and wake up in jail, that would make you real pissed.

Brooklyn718 if someone said any of that to me here would be my response:
1) Your also around teachers, faculity, and staff... relize that they will call the cops that much faster on you if they suspect or find shit.

2) If you can only get through school feeling "normal" when your high, then life is going to be a slap in the face... i have a feeling that those kids are insecure and the only reason they smoke is to be more social

3) If your life is horrible then there is no reason to use drugs as an escape, when you come down your problems are still there right... so your solving nothing.

ok so those are my 3 responses to the first three, i've heard those same things from people at school and i told them the same thing that i just wrote... so dont take it as i'm trying to be an asshole to you.

If I would wanna do drugs id just stay home. No point in goin then is their? The few times at school one might wanna learn something to pass ones tests. Ive always aced my tests because of the few days I went to school and really concentrated. Mainly because when I came to school I was there 100% to catch up and work ahead so I could skip the rest of the week to go do fun things like go on vacation to see friends or family. The problem in Holland is that ur not allowed to skip school. I made a deal with the social worker that as long as i kept passing i could do as i pleased.
Im sure that if i went to school the full time stoned, i wouldve failed miserably. if there r underage posters:

Finish ur work before u do the drugs. This only makes the time during and after the high ever so pleasant.

I could understand not blazing or tripping before class, but anyone who
has done adderall would know exactly what im talking about. It
helps you concentrate, you stay completely focused on whats going on
and it keeps you content. Also, it makes the day go by so quick. If any
drug were to be used prior to class i would suggest Adderall, anything
else would be a waste, not only cause class would kill the buzz, but
also because you can't function very well on most other drugs....

Adderall + School = PHD

i am a few years older than 18, and a few years out of high school..here's why you do not do drugs in school...I used to casually drink in school, and come to school stoned everyday...hell, i even put out my roaches on the school bus tire as it pulled up to the stop..cool shit..i had fun....i graduated, barely, with a 1.765 gpa...i've now dropped out of college 3 times, i am a liscensed emt, but i dont' want to work in that field, low pay and lots of hours..plus drug testing...i've now accecpted that i will be working factory and warehouse jobs for 12-20 dollers an hour the rest of my life...i mean, i'll still live comfortable...but it kinda sucks...no big deal though, i've made this choice and I'm content with it..no problems here...

but you may not like that future, so to anyone doing stuff in school, give it a rest a few hours...it's for your good...or at least give it a shot....

At first it wasnt much, but then all my friends got expelled andI got bored, so i smoked weed all day, before school, lunch, breaks, any chance i got. Then i got expelled too...and now in a simiular postion as dark. Well I have two rules on dosing in school, although I never experienced
high school(long boring story). And these also apply to work
enviroments.

1. Keep it low enough that it doesn't show, if anyone notices something "different" about you its too much.

2.NEVER NEVER have a first time experience with a substance in
school/work! Psychedelics especially, I'm sick of reading topics like
"first time dexxer, gonna hit the third plateau in school" or "finally
found some LSD/shrooms :) gonna do it in school tomorrow".

Thats just sofa king wetodded, I get that in some way you want to be
found out to show everyone you're an "Adult", but please it only makes
us responsible users look bad.

School administrators aren't gonna take a chance, they will CTA and
call the paramedics everytime. Your parents are gonna be stuck with a
large 3,000K medical bill, I know you want to piss them off but try
something else except this pathetic cry for help.

There's a point to which I agree with it and don't agree with it. Like
unico_walker just said above me, I think it's stupid also for people to
experience something for their first time going to school. Like he used
in an example, hitting the 3rd plateau while at school for the first
time, I wouldn't put it past some of the kids these days to try it and
of course, the principal WILL call an ambulance and possibly the
police. Hiding a 3rd plateau trip is going to be impossible for someone
who has never done it before. If I went to class on DXM, I'd be so paranoid that somebody would notice and say something.

However, last semester in college I was taking an art class. I went to
class once after taking 3 hits of LSD. I then painted some of the best
artwork I have ever done. I wasn't in there acting all crazy or running
around like some drugged up maniac, I just had all these CRAZY ideas
coming to me and I was putting them all onto the canvas. I did this on
purpose though because I wanted to see how much of a difference there
was in my paintings while sober and while on acid. It's not like I drop
a hit before every class I go to. Other then that, I haven't gone to a
class on drugs before... I save that for at home in my free time.

IMO i think whatever helps you get learn more or do better is fine. if that means adderal to increase concentration fine, if it means skunk to mellow you out or do good in art fine, if it's means a few beers to lower any social barriers that's ok too, hell maybe even a low dose of shrooms for a art exam

IF you compare American education to any other education kids get it other countries. I can say our education sucks. It's not as concentrated as others. THat's why you in school for 12 years comparing to 11 or 10 in other countries. Sometimes I feel it's a waste of time. I'm better off going home and stydying on my own. Drugs might help students make the time go by, nad it's just a new experience. In my opiniton the only drugs that acceptable to do while or before the school are weed and alchol.

so max17 your saying that it's perfectly good to go into school when your drunk? Some people can control tripping balls better then they could being drunk, and plus you dont smell... True i dont advocate doing shrooms before school. I also on the other hand say negative to the drinking too. I've done it before and 1/2 way through the day i was falling asleep in classes. Also as u might know "A drunk person speaks a sober mind" and boy did i speak it.

Some people can study on meth a lot better, and can be up for days at a time studying and such, others cant. I just cant go about saying that it's good to take drugs before school. A few puffs i can understand because it can calm people down, every other drug IMO makes you act enough different that you will have a higher risk of being caught

Back when I was a Sophmore I used to smoke beforeschool and go high all the time, I didnt think anything bad of it, and it always made the days go by quicker in my opinion. Also, I think I was actually smarter I dont know like I was zoned in on the teachers lectures, I even went to something we had to take then called "outcome exams" which determines if you have comprehended everything you should have in high school, and I passed with no problem, so being high didnt really effect me being at school. But I dont think going to school shit face drunk is cool, thats just to risky and not even worth it, what if your in the middle of class and you have had to much to drink and you start yakking everywhere, now that would suck in my opinion, be smart its yourlife, and your future, do what you got to.

Well being in school doesnt neccassarily mean high school it could mean college, plus when i was in school i rarely wanted to go high on something that totally tore me up just cuz the simple fact that i was the class clown and the whole school knew and watched me and i had to talk to tons of people a day and being sent to the office and all kinda crap like that, if you get caught at school with a substance i know alot of people that have and went to alternative school but as far as a record it goes on a YO page meaning youthfull offender meaning when u get 18 it will be erased well not erased but it wont count anyways, inless ofcourse they charge u as a adult as some states would.

When i was in school i would occasionally go high on pot or take a xaney or two something that wouldnt put me in a transe but something that would not be noticable and get u in trouble.

Hey come to think of it maybe that's how i became the class clown in the first place was going under the influence of pot, laughing histerically and things of that nature but hey istill do that anyways and i can bust out into a laugh that last like 3-5 minutes without even being intoxicated i guess im just crazy but o well i like me lol.

Anyways going to school trippin isnt suggested ive never trippedi dont think, but anyways i still wouldnt suggest it to people.

I don't know what the hell some of you guys are talking about with the whole "life in the right direction thing." I recently did an assload of shrooms in school and it was the coolest shit ever. The best part is that I get A's, which makes me feel like an asshole. Seriously though, if your not experienced with that type of stuff, dont do it in school. Oh, and heres another thing that makes me feel like an asshole, on that same day I did them I got to hook up with this georgious senior, and scored two 100's on big tests, and I did this all while the floor patterns were moving back and forth. I go to an inner city school, and most of the time the teachers really dont care. They might give you a detention instead of calling the police. If you go to a really tight-ass Catholic school I would never have tripped balls in school. Like I said, if you think you are under the right enough circumstances to have a carefree school trip, go for it. If you think it would be a messed up experience I wouldn't ever think of doing it. I am very much against goin to school fucked up. First, let me say that going to school on adderal, and perhaps high on pot (but not completely baked) is ok in my book. What bothers me is to see people taking shrooms at school, goin to school drunk, doin heroin in school, ect. If your not goin there to learn, then why are you going there? Also, that old arguement, "I get high all the time in school and get straight A's". Well good for you, but your not learning proper values, and you will get no where in the real world without proper values. Theres nothing wrong with getting high, but seriously, do it on your own time.

i have to disagree, if your getting high and getting straight A's whats the problem? its the people who get high and dont do jack shit all day except sleep and geek out that are the problem. if you canget an assignment, make it more fun, and still do it and do it right, then nothing is wrong. its when your priorities of getting high and passing time outweigh your schoolwork or job that u need to take a look at yourself. getting drunk and tripping however, that is all about trying to look cool, because u cant have much fun that way, nor can you learn. so its pointless for either decision u make.

I used to think the same way... to an extent. I think, however, that as you get older, you wont necessarily regret doing it, but you will see what is wrong with goin to school messed up.

If everyone got messed up in public, than obviously the world would be a much more dangerous place. Some people maybe able to handle it, but many wont, and laws are made to protect everyone. Speed limits are posted for everyone, even though some may be able to handle driving faster. Guns are kept out of the hands of young kids, even though some can handle them. There are countless examples. Generally, though, people respect these laws because they are sensible. Putting this into perspective, people are not supost to go in public drunk, because some can't handle it. People are not allowed to drive drunk, even though some may be able to drive with 3-4 beers in them. If drugs were legal, then the same laws would pertain to them as well.

Another thing that I believe is important is character. I believe that getting high all the time robs many people of they're true potential. School is, or should be, about building a strong character and personality. I think the school system of America has totally failed at this, but you spend 7 hours a day there, they should be developing your character. If your getting fucked up at school alot, than your learning that its ok to go in public messed up, when in America, that's a very risky thing to do. All I'm saying is, you gotta take in the world as it is, not as some drug makes you think it is. Gettin high is alotta fun, but there's a time and a place to do it, and I believe school is not the place to do it.

Again, these are my opinions. I'm 18 and I can honestly say I've done it too. I've seen alot of people who do it all the time, and very few of them are going to be graduating this year with me, which is a damn shame. About the straight A's, I get A's and B's, and I had to work for it. School is supposed to teach you the value of hard work, somethin they have also failed at. I have seen alot of people get straight A's, then fail college cause they didn't know how to apply themselves. Just keep that in mind.

thats a good thought right there, it never really occured to me like that before, and i suppose your right. things would get wild if everyone could do things high all the time. your a smart guy sands of time. it is a shame to watch friends throw themselves away over such foolish things as being fucked up all day in school and not wanting to learn, or just being plain sober andlazy.

Glad to see you agree. I gotta correct you on something though. I'm not by any means smarter than the average person. I have experienced alot in my short life and learned from every experience. I worked hard to get the things I have and I know that I have many more years of hard work to achieve things I need.

Long story short, I went to school high, did bad, almost failed a couple classes and learned not to do that again. Learned from my experience. The thing is, though, many people my age don't learn from they're mistakes, and thats why many end up fuckin up they're lives.

I understand what curtains is saying even though i'm one of these "younguns" My grades really fell when I was blazin' before class. And I skipped a lot more cause I felt like shit before the end of the day. on hte other hand some coke before or even during school though risky really can bring your grades up, but again you get to feeling like shit later in the day or on days when you don't get your supply. I would say you shouldn't blaze everyday before school but it's alright every once in a while.If you are still in school and don't agree, well I didn't either until I failed english and am having to get straight A's in my worst subject to pass. Hope I help someone that is in my former shoes!
