Hello. I was wondering if anyone has lost their virginity while on
drugs. If so, what drugs? And would you suggest this? It seems like you
would want your first time to be a time to remember and be clean but i
would like some other opinions. Thanks.

Don't use DXM with sex, in a lot of guys it inhibits orgasm and when
SWIM did it he tried having sex twice in the same day, he went at it
for about 90 minutes each time, he couldn't come and was sore as hell
the next few days after...so was she.

While I can certainly agree with P!MPJU!C3 that the sacrament of losing
one's virginity is highly overblown, I tend to think that being sober
for your first time is a fairly good idea, if only to create a
benchmark to which you can compare subsequent experiences.



This leads me to my second idea, which is that one's first sexual
experience (or first several sexual experiences, for that matter) might
be clumsy enough without substances altering your coordination and
other functions. To me it makes sense to get a few rolls in the
hay under your belt (HAR) just to get used to the act before adding
some substance that will make it even more challenging.



Just a thought.

I don't know how it is for other people, but I CAN NOT</span>

I agree with chemlove about the awkwardness- your first time having sex and your first time using substances should not be combined. But if one is an experienced user of something like say pot, and chooses to have sex for the first time under its influence, that's a li'l different.

Swim lost hers on alcohol. She lost it to a close friend who was already sexually experienced, and they decided to ahve sex while they were both sober, in addition to mutually agreeing to use a condom. During the actual act, swim was pretty intoxicated, and doesn't remember much, other than flashes of it, but she is happy with how it turned out as planned. Spontaneity can be good, but can also be regrettable if that spontaneity is induced by chemical stupor.

After losing her virginity, swim and said partner went on to become fuck buddies sober, high on pot, high on coke, etc. and it was all pretty good. Swim is glad she got the first (mostly painful and awkward) experience out of the way while trashed and with a trusted partner.

Later, when she got involved in a serious relationship, the sex was fantastic because they both knew what they were doing, which is a good thing.

Swim doesn't recommend sexual experiences high with a new partner, or sexual experiences on a new substance in most cases.. but once you are experienced with both your partner (preferably a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse) and have gained that level of trust, and have experienced altered consciousness enough to trust yourself with such substances, swim thinks this is an ideal context for sexual exploration with different chemicals- especially the psychedelics. In PIKHAL and TIKHAL the Shulgin's talk openly about their relationship and their chemical experiences and how both have affected their sexual and emotional interactions- very forthright and honest, and worth reading in swim's opinion. This is the kind of relationship swim aspires to, both with a life partner and with her use of chemicals.

SWIM lost his virginity pretty much sober, a little stoned but i dont really think it affected it much. This was a time when SWIM smoked weed about 4-5 times a day...so it would've been pretty inescapable to not be stoned and to have sex at the time..

I think, though too much benzos can erase your memory and leave you with a blank where your supposed to have this great memory, a little bit of xanax or whatnot would be OK for the first time. It'll get rid of the anxiety at least a little bit. Someone's first time should be as enjoyable as possible, not ruined by insecurities and self consciousness. I had a great time my first time, I wasn't nervous at all once things started heating up. But I can see where anxiety could ruin the experience...
