I am having a difficult time finding a doctor to prescribe me Xanax and pain meds. I need suggestions on how and where I can find a good doc. I have a MRI showing my back is fucked up. THANKS....

well....if you have extreme trouble sleeping or possibly have some sort
of ectreme social anxiety (or good ol' regualr anxiety) the doc might
give you a perscription for some xanax. If your back is really messed
up you oughta be getting pain meds as is, and if you aren't say that
you are gonna consult another doc and do so.

Xanax usualy requires a prescription from a psychiatrist. Pain meds from an institution who did surgury upon you. Tell yuor dotor you feel anxious and he will give you a prescription to see a psychologist. When you see the psychologist tell them you were told to speak to a psychiatrist. He will basically analize you for a few visits. If you play your cards right you can get up to 2 mg xanax and even sleep meds like ambien

Some GPs, family doctors will also prescibe pain meds like vicodin and anti-anxiety like xanax. These doctors will not keep you on a regular regimen, however, and re-enforce brooklyn's point of needing to see a psychiatrist if you want long term care.

Ok. I went to another doc explained my problems of anxiety and he gladly prescribed me 1mg twice a day which helps very, very much. I also am seeing a psychologist and he and the doc are working togeather to treat me. Things seem to be getting better, but I still am in pain because of my back and neck. I go to another doc next month about that. My medical records wern't transferd like they were supose to be this month!!!!

First, get insurance. Doctors really open up to you when you have
insurance they can rape. Second, you have to do like Rush
Limbaugh did and doctor shop. Some doctors are super tight with
the meds, some doctors are super loose with the meds. Just gotta
get lucky and find the right one.
