I am concerned that I am saying or doing the wrong things, or that there are things I should be saying or doing but am not. My boyfriend is in Heroin detox and I want to be as much help as possible. Any advice?
Yes, watch him carefully as he is inbetween heaven and hell. You need to be tough and persuasive when he wants his heroin heaven and you need to be supporting when he goes through hell. Keep reminding him of good things and goals to do this for. Let him know that you believe in him.
But beware that there is a great chance that he will not make it as this is a very strong addiction.

It took me 13 times to finially stop useing herion. It wase the hardest thing I have ever done. It's hard and I wish him the best of luck. You are in for a bumpy ride also,but like Alfa said he may not do it the first or the fith. Just hang in there and help him and don't give up. You will need to be tough on him too.
