is it safe to combine xanax and vicodin? (lets say 1mg xanax combined with 20mg hydrocodone+1000mg acetominophen)

I'm not sure about safe, but SWIM has done that many a time, with no ill effects. http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

Two things to consider with regards safety...
1) Oversedation and respiratory depression;
2) Acetominophen(paracetomol) in high doses, regularly repeated, really does do a lot of damage to your liver. It's also an ingredient in a lot of medications, so it's very easy to exceed the max dose regularly without realising it - check the labels and do the math, cos a collapsed liver followed by complete organ failure over 72 hours aint fun!
I'd recommend doing a bit more homework on paracetomol toxicity - it's well covered here and elsewhere, so please do a search!

yes and i highly advise
xanax and hydrocodone areGREAT when mixed SWIM told me so just be careful with all that acetominophen >>1000mg is just killing your liver

i've eaten a whole prescription of vicodin in a day and been fine.i really prefer oxycontin and valium though.
if you're worried about liver damage,then just do a cold/hot water extraction using coffee filters and an ice bath to remove all the acetaminaphin and you're left with several milliliters of liquid oxycodone.you lose somewhere around 5% of oxycodone through this process so make sure to use plenty of pills.

xanax and vicodin is a good mix for me and safe if you don't over do it. My olddoc had me on xanes and oxys for awhile I have moved and in search of another good doc like her.

I took i think 20 or 25 mgs of vic and 2mg of xanax one time at school....needless to say i dont remember that day at all. Do it when u got nothin you have to do/remember

this one time i snorted a line of vicodin and popped for xanax pills.....NOT BARS and i had the best time of my life. It was more of a drunk high. My friends were fucking with me so much, and i dropped my credit card in my salad at Fresh Choice.....ahhhh good times.

1000mg of acetominophen isn't all that much. A standard tylenol pill is
500mg and the bottle says to take 2. As long as you arent doing this all
the time that level of tylenol shouldn't be a problem. A word of caution
though, mixing tylenol and alcohal can greatly enhance the liver toxicity
of both of them. If you're going a drink a CWE might be in order,
especially if you plan on repeating this a lot
