Although there have been some questions as to whether or not Castaneda invented many of the experiences detailed in this book, i still found it fascinating and a quick read.
I thought the section on datura was quite good especially, because it seemed to line up very nicely with trip reports i'd read.
Very entertaining book, and i'm pretty sure it's a shorter read than the 256 pages would suggest.
My copy was a tiny paperback and i wouldn't be surprised if much of that edition is notes or a lengthy preface.
