does anyone have any good stories about crazy things they did while on xanax? i just thought it would be an interesting topic.


for me, the 1st time i ever tried xanax i did 3 bars my freshman yr of high school. i had obtained a prescription to them for anxiety. anyways i remember thinking this is kinda gay how do ppl like these? then they kicked in and was stumbling around in class walking around during a test. i dont remember too much, but when i got the test back the next day it just had scribbles all over it and my teacher put a question mark at the top. i think i got sent to the office, but i somehow managed to make it home that day without getting in trouble or getting caught. lol

Put my car straight into a ditch doing about 60. Yes, this was a bad
time in my life. My older sister was prescribed to xanax and I took one
one day a long time ago just out of curiosity. It made me feel so much
better. I was always very depressed and stressed out, so of course the
xanax is going to do it's job and take care of it. My parents ended up
finding out that I was taking her pills. I wasn't abusing them or
anything, just taking 1 when I felt like that again. After many MANY
psychiatrist visits, I ended up with a prescription of my own. That's
when things turned bad for me. I then started abusing them, taking them
every night just because I would be bored and wanted to get "fucked
up". Started to build a strong tolerance for them and I was taking
about 10mg at a time just to get off. I ended up becoming even more
depressed and stressed out than I was before, especially when I ran out
of pills and couldn't get my script filled for a couple weeks. I got to
the point in life where I just didn't care about anything, if I lived
or died. That's when the whole night of crashing my car comes into the
story. I was bored at a friends house, he was smoking and I didn't feel
like it. I had xanax in the car so I took about 12mg (can't remember
exactly how much, I know I just took some out of the bottle and popped
them all at once). Well, once again, even while I was on the xanax I
got depressed, started contemplating my life again. Thoughts were just
running through my head wondering why I was taking all of those pills
and why I couldn't stop. I would just tell myself that my life was
going nowhere and I had no point in living. My friend had fallen asleep
so I decided I'd try and drive home. The worst part of this is that I
knew I was way to gone to even think about driving home, but I didn't
care. I lived about 15 miles from where I was. About 3 miles down the
road, I didn't even turn for a corner, went straight into a ditch. I
totalled my car, broke both legs, and entered a coma for 2 weeks. When
I began to awake from my coma, I could not speak. Friends came to visit
me in the hospital and I would recognize them, but all I could do was
stare at them with a blank look in my eyes. I couldn't smile, speak, or
even raise a finger at them to acknowledge their presence. I was then
in therapy for the next 2 years, re-learning how to speak and walk. It
took about a full year before I could walk on my own again. I regained
my speach ability pretty quickly. I couldn't drive a car for the next 3
years of my life. Xanax ruined what could have been some of the
greatest years of my life. I don't blame the drug at all, I blame my
own stupidity for what happened. I'm not trying to make this sound like
some anti-xanax drug story, but just be careful. If you feel like
you're starting to slip, then chances are that you are and should try
to stop then.

I have a lot of xanax stories. Most of them involve waking up the next day not knowing what the fuck happened, sometimes in jail, and some involve car wrecks. None of the storeis are really funny though. The craziest thing that happened to me on xanax was having a threesome.

I took a Xanax after coachella 2 yers ago. Never taken it before... and took the whole bar. passed out @ 6PM woke up 10 minstil midnight. (in a puddle of drool) I was starving cause I missed dinner... drove to Mcdonalds... when I got back my roomate had parked in the drive way. For some reason I thought I could squeeze between her car and the garage... and I did... but I fucked up the entire side of my car on her bumper.... When I got out of the car I didn't give a shit.. went inside ate my big mac. When I woke up in the morning.. I was like WHAT THE FUCK! Thanks Xanax!

During the Superbowl, when SWIV's team was playing, she downed a couple bars and had some alcohol. Not a necessarily smart idea, as SWIV still doesn't remember a goddamn thing from that night. According to SWIV's friend who she was watching it with, SWIV was really drunk and slurring quite a lot. Apparently it was a really good game and the best team won. Too bad she don't remember it.
The combination of Xanax and alcohol has never been a good idea, especially if more than 1mg Xanax and a few drinks worth of alcohol are to be had.

SWIM has a prescription for Xanax, for she is really tense, has panic attacks, but only when she gets high (but not all the time) and has had no problems with it. Xanax is not drug SWIY takes to get high. It's an anti-anxiety medication for people who suffer from anxiety disorders, panic attacks, or even just to relax - for all those nights your mind won't shut off - it's great for that. SWIM was wondering if SWIY was taking the Xanax after, during or even before having any alcoholic beverages. SWIM has experienced severe nausea and terrible hangovers after a night of having drinking and then stupidly taking a Xaxax - if not - wish SWIM could help SWIY - strange though, never heard of a situaiton like this.

Last summer swims friend had a connection to a guy that always had xanax(alprazolam)so one day he and his friend get four 40 mg methadone pills a piece and swim gets 12 xanax his friend 8.So he and his friend go to his friends house to just eat some pills,chill out,watch tv.Swim decided not to take any methadone and proceeded to take 4 xanax(alprazolam).Very shortly swim had that benzodiazepine sense of calmness and the world being right.He got in a long conversation with his friends grandmother who lived right next door to his friend,asked his friends cousin who was over for a hug.Well swim decided he was feeling good and needed to feel even better.Swim took five more of the xanax.Swim was out of it.

His mother called asking if he wanted to go out for Chinese food with her,after that things got very hazy.Swim doesn't remember being in the Chinese resturaunt at all.The next day swim talked to his mother who seemed very angry."What were you on yesterday?You were drooling,bumping into things,falling asleep in the resturaunt."Swim replied with,"What resturaunt mom?"She was not happy to say the least!This is one of the things of xanax(alprazolam)it seems to be very good at producing temporary amnesia.

Not alot to tell about a xanax(alprazolam) experience.Much like any benzodiazepine it sedates,calms the nerves,and makes one blissfully forgetful about their problems.It isn't like a psychedellic,its not going to cause any weird and entertaining trip reports.Ofcourse swim prefers drugs that make him forget to ones that take him on all kinds of weird mental journeys.

Swim would say xanax(alprazolam)is one of the better benzodiazepines for recreation because it is short acting.After one is taken it doesn't take very long at all for the effects to come on.The only downside is the effects don't last as long as they do with some other benzodiazepines.Swim could also see how this could be a very addictive substance so caution is advised with it.Swim wishes there was more to tell about this substance but really there isn't much to it.

SWIG wants it known that since discovering Alprazolam (via a good OP) his life has changed (SWIG suffers from intense social anxiety).

SWIG is very aware of the potential tolerance and dependancy but can say that the more he has experienced the relief this drug provided, the less he has had to rely on the drug. It's like he has been able to get out of a constant anxiety loop and his mind has once again found out what it feels like to be normal.

SWIG only occasionally takes Alprazolam (at a 0.5mg dose - which has never had to be increased) before a new, or not recently visited situation, it's then like his brain trains itself that the experience he is going through is nothing to become anxious about so the next time he does not get wound up anywhere near what he would used to.

SWIG is guessing or happy to believe that this is pretty much the way the drug is intended to be taken, giving the mind enough time to get off the anxiety treadmill to realise that the situations most feared are nothing to get worked up about. It's worked a treat for SWIG and he wishes he had found out about Alprazolam years ago!

There was the one occasion when SWIG mixed 1mg with a lot of alcohol and overslept for work, furthermore couldn't remember much of the following morning in the office either. Was a good lesson though - that this drug has no recreational value to SWIG whatsoever and has not bothered repeating since!

alprazolam is swims preferred benzo for comedowns of any type. short halflife and usually wake up feeling pretty fresh after only 4-6 hours. Swim does not use benzos often, just the 2 recent weeks but onw excessively. Xanax seemed perfect for the speed comedowns... although usually swims just bummed out at the end of a speed run, but at twhich point swim's so tired he could probably fall asleep without benzos but it does rid of the anxiety. SWIM knows xanax tolerance goes up real quick.. SWIM has only used xanax for comedown purposes at 2-4mg. He gets chilled out and has the option to sleep but even after a looong day of speed he could stil stay awake for a considerable amount of time.

swim doubts he could be addicted to benzos and the current speed thing was
messup. although swim did get a lot of things dowe and discovered some shit on the speed... but after a week of once 3 day in a row then sleep then 2 days swim lost about 14lbs of weight in a week. Which is not fun for swim as he lifts weights and practises MMA... swim looked thin and everyone comented on it...... hit the gym for a week and regained 7 lbs mostly liquid weight but it felt good and the regret was gone........ so dumbass swim had about 500mg of quality speed left. him and his friend had devoured 10g in one week. FOrtunately theres a wide selection of benzos, mostly xanax and valium.

but swim is the guy who always stays up later than everyone else and always does that one or two extra...

well about an hour atn 20 minutes have past since swim chewed up his 2x1 mg of alprazolam. about an hour since 3x sublingual Roche valiums (so swiy knows theyre 10mg).. he did add another one sublingual so at this moment after a tweak night, all in all, 2mg alprazolam , 40mg diazepam. 1+ hour on all. thing is, swim could probably have fallen asleep without taking them but, he'd rather juts get rid of his last ones (now only 6 valiums left).. juts as he got rid of all the speed. This chit is HIGHLY addictive. SWIM has a friend who jus tsat up eating a 500 mg of valium playing a computer game the other week (he had not takien any stims though) but damn, that's 50 tabs! Swim has never used benzos recreationally though. but theavailbity of speed and benzs where swim lives is in excess and it's too cheap. SWIM is eating a banana right now and is tasting the chemical afterttaste of amphetamine, diazepam and xanax.. but that stuff really doesn't bother swim as much as it seems to bother others. Sublingual is swims preferred mode of useage. SWIM has completely come down from the speed but the combination of diazepam and alprazolam has motivated him to tidy the mess he's made on the amphetamine. swim will however restrict his movement to as little as possible for about an hour when he'll feel it's time to go to sleep. It's 2 pm.

As a side note to this post swim would like to ask a question; are all benzo experiences posted now required to be posted in this thread? Swims experience in this case is not of the use of alprazolam alone. Swim long ago found that alprazolam bores him unless combined with other drugs. This is a report of the use of alprazolam in combination with amphetamine in the form of generic 10mg IR blue tablets containing an imprint of 10 on one side and b 972 on the other. The alprazolam used was in powder form obtained from an internet vender and then divided up by dissolving the known quanitity in dry methanol. The alprazolam was then collected by evaporating enough methanol to collect 100mg of alprazolam. After this point the alprazolam was no longer weighed before being consumed. The reason for this is simple. The test subject had previously measured out exactly 2mg of alprazolam (dissolved in methanol), once 2mg of powdered xanax was obtained it was encapsulated and used as a reference for future dosing. What follows is the experience of a test subject administered a combination of d,l-amphetamine and alprazolam. This report begins as a retelling of the earlier parts of the evening, the later will be written (and hopefully updated) as the night developes. As it is written by the test subject the first person will be used in place of the customary swim.

Time of ingestion:
Good mood, a bit meloncholy but this is typical and I find it only a bit irritating. Two 10mg amphetamines are swallowed with mountain breeze (the generic mountain dew). I then proceeded to place roughly 2mg of alprazolam into a gelcap, the top of the cap (away from its contents) was slit with a razor blade to hasten the onset of sedation. I had chosen to consume this combination for a number of reasons. My reasons on this night related mostly to my undeveloped social skills and my general frustration with my current place in life. In the past however I would have consumed one substance or the other. Fortunately I developed a strong distaste for the effects of d,l-amphetamine. I found the peripheral stimulation to be extremely unpleasent and the depression upon comedown to be far worse than the pleasent effects of the CNS stimulation. The constant strain on both my mind and body also caused me to be irritable and unable to accomplish scholastic goals. So after a period of three months, begining with use escalating to abuse I made the choice to quit and over the course of one week went from consuming 1.2g of amphetamine (pharmacutical not street) a month both nasely and orally to a maximum of 10mg weekly. So to summerize, my goal was to achieve a dopamine high while avoiding the unpleasent stimulation; while at the same time achieving a high from activation of the GABAa site.

Stimulatory effects are felt, I begin reading about injectable alprazolam formulations and completely forget about any drug injestion or the sedation yet to come. I am somewhat euphoric despite my seemingly small dose of amphetamine as my tolerence to the effects of amphetamine have completely dissipated.

Time: 1:00
Injestion of alprazolam is remembered when a yawn interupts my study, I conclude that my recent frequent consumption of alprazolam has given rise to some tolerence. Upon deciding this I measure ~1mg, encapsulate it, and ingest it. At this time I also add another 5mg of amphetamine nasely. I notice that I am not nearly as fidgity as I would normally be under these circumstances. Despite a desire to masterbate I decide to work on a paper that I had intended to work on tonight. As I am a vocal supporter of drug legalization (I base my arguement on both human rights and benifits to society) I chose this as the topic of my paper. To work on it while under the influence of two controlled substances seemed like a pleasent activity (hello dopamine).

Time: 2:00
Current time, still working one paper. Header and first sentence succesfully completed. Fortunetly I still have roughly 48 hours to complete it. I will make a bit more progress, masterbate, and lay down with a hefty dose of alprazolam and some supplements (best of which is piracetam works like a charm). Before this time I will update at least once more. Oh and I have yet again consumed another dose alprazolam, I may have underdosed in the previous cases as I have had some very negative experiences centered around alprazolam that I wish to avoid.

Well this was a total wast of swims time, all he feels is mild sedation, he mind as well sell his adderall and get got old opiates. Fucking dopamine, maybe someone who likes GABAa mind enjoy this combo but in just bored swim. He is just going to to take another cap of alprazolam and play the see if you can beat off before you call asleep game. Hope other swims out there have better luck.

I got prescribed xanax for anxiety .25 i think swim had about 90 of em for 1 month

they cured the anxiety pretty well but wen i started usin em recreationaly thats wen they stopped workin. The first time i took like 5 and ended up in this weird half sleep half awake thing for a few hours havin weird dreams of family members yelling at me and shit, idk how to describe it but i couldnt really move my body, prolly weirdest drug experience ive ever had. < any1 ever heard of this type of thing be4?? btw it was also my first every benzo experience

i tried em later and noticed my blood pressure (i have high blood pressure) was actually normal for once. after i took to many a few times they stopped helping the anxiety so i just used higher doses to get messed up i ended up with a tolerence quick so i ended up snorting them, they make ur nose numb, get me really clumsy and shit "drunk on pills" is the term i hear alot so there not to bad but altogether i dint like my xanax experiences much, prolly would have been better if i had a higher dose script because i have some friends who think the stuffs magic.

the doc switched me to 5mg of valium that works better for the anxiety and every once in a while its good for a high

Even with a legit script swiy was not using them how they were intended to be used thus breaking a law.Swim is a must use when talking about any substance use.And it sounds like if swiy ever tries to get off benzodiazepines they are going to have a difficult time.

SWIM will preclude the report with a bit of background information. SWIM had taken 4mg of XANAX on a one off the last summer and had very strong effects. previously he had taken up to 10mg of Nitrazepam, afterwards he had taken up to a dose of 50mg Nitrazepam and 50mg Zolpidem (Ambien).
So SWIM was busy christmas shopping online and buying a new motherboard from ebay. He remembers a very efficient online drug presciption site and proceeds to buy 50x1mg Alprazolam. The goods had arrived a day late therefore anxiety was higher than normal while contemplating their safe journey across the continents. firstly half a tablet was taken to no detriment therefore the next week was set out as an experiment, up to 2mg of aplazolam were taken without too noticable effects (at the time), people around SWIM were commenting he did sound a bit pissed too often (slurred speech) in the last few days. as an end to this journey he took 4mg XANAX with about quarter a bottle of jack daniels and cola (70cl/4=17.5cl) and proceeded to have the best night of sleep for a long time. on looking back he had noticed only a few complications. these were for one a noticable reduction in the effect of XANAX than previously experienced before and more noticably the fact that SWIM lost a lot of time on this med. infact he would frequently forget which day it was and activities done during the day. (this irritated the people surrounding him to no end). a plus identified was the combination of RITALIN (IN) and XANAX (OR) in reducing paranoia or anxiety relating to high doses of RITALIN taken in this fashion. SWIM has now took notice of those effects encountered with XANAX and has decided that the side effects although seemingly small to him would be an ever-present problem when in an social environment. therefore in the future when sleep is a problem he will stick with Zolpidem that is legally prescribed in the prescribed dosage. SWIM would love to read what others think or have experienced with XANAX in these respects. Indeed SWIM does not refer to prescribed benzo's here but from a recreational point of view. look forward to reading the replies. :)

Howdy all,

SWIM had a couple of catastrophic alprazolam overdoses in the past year. One intentional, related to depression, and one was a complete surprise.

MAIN MESSAGE: Do not take large but unquantified doses of alprazolam. And DO NOT take even NORMAL doses of alprazolam on a Very empty system, such as after a period of fasting. Effects in some lab rats of such dosing are magnified about 10x.

Of SWIM's two bad Xanax trips, the worst (by far) side effects for SWIM were total amnesia, and a lack of awareness of his own unfitness to be in public. The only times SWIM's family and friends have visibly "worried he might be on something" has been with Xanax overdose that lasted into the following day(s). Of course, SWIM lives alone so there was no one to witness the worst of the chaos.

In Event #1, SWIM had partial anterograde amnesia for about 6-10 hours after chugging an unspecified amount of alpo (SWIM was very high on 2C-B + 2C-T-7 at the time and becoming extremely stressed and depressed, it being the middle of finals week (what was he thinking!) and it was a bad scene and he wanted out.) This was followed by a day or two in which he attempted to go to the office per normal, only to be approached with concern by several coworkers over a sudden 500% increase in typos and oddly disjointed e-mails. Explained away as sleep deprivation, this actually ended up giving SWIM a convenient excuse for several overdue assignments. Not to be attempted twice however.

Taking train home that evening, he spaced out, missed his station (never did that before in seven years), and decided to walk the 4km home from the next one. Fell down several times in the high street (still has the torn jeans) and cut his hand badly while climbing over a metal fence -- completely unnecessary shortcut taken from sheer recklessness. Showed up in the smoke shop with blood everywhere mumbling for a pack of smokes. Apparently they almost called an ambulance, but it's a "progressive" smoke shop and I guess they get that a lot.

The other time was far scarier. SWIM had just completed a six-day juice fast and had been back on light solid foods for only about 48-60 hours. So all in all his body's temple was flushed and empty. Not sleeping well, SWIM went for his usual "knockout" dose of 4mg at 8pm on a Wednesday before returning to work. Went to the couch to play XBox until it came on and he could rest.

Next thing he knew, he's in bed the next morning, Thursday 9:30, and has a deep, dreadful feeling of not-rightness. Supposed to be at work, running an hour late -- well, that's no big deal. Checked the mobile; messages from the office, dated... Friday 9:15. Shit. SWIM had missed a whole day's work and not even called in or returned boss's calls. Another "first". Great. Better get to work asap. Then SWIM looked closer at the mobile, and the current date: Saturday 9:35.

!!! How could this be?

Staggering to the kitchen, SWIM discovered an awful mess. Dirty pots and pans all over, planters knocked down with soil everywhere, $500 espresso machine in pieces, lots of big dried stains of food/vomit everywhere. Bizarre foods missing from the fridge (hot dogs + beet greens??) NEW food in the cupboards he had no memory of buying.

Holy Fuck. SWIM had been out and about doing god knows what for TWO FULL DAYS and no memory of it whatsoever. Thankfully, no embarrassing phone calls or e-mails were sent. UPS apparently delivered him a package, which he unpacked and put away so expertly while blacked out, he didn't even notice the new items. So he spent several days threatening to sue UPS over the shipment, only to realize he had, in fact, signed for it personally. By far the worst outcome was the havoc he wreaked on his beloved Italian superautomatic espresso machine. SWIM on Xanax has no respect for the finer things.

SWIM will be very much more careful with alprazolam from now on. It already took 48 hours of 2008 from him completely.

Swim is a male, weighing 150 lbs. He has experienced various Benzodiazepine intoxications, both in combination with LSD, Cannabis, and by itself. Normally dosing 1 mg, followed by .5 mg if necessary, swim decided to try his hand at a slightly higher dose.

Setting: Bed Room, Park

Experience: Sitting in the park with a joint, swim decided to ingest his Alprazolam, recently acquired from a careless pharmacist. He swallowed 4x.25 mg pills with a glob of saliva and a tilted head, and began to read his book. After about 20 minutes, swim began to feel a mild euphoric intoxication, and decided to down the other 4 pills, totaling his consumption of 2 mg. The warm sun beating down upon him, he put his book down and watched the clouds. Before long, he was experiencing mild visual distortions (resulting in beautifully animated, cartoonish clouds) and a euphoric physical intoxication. He had put out his joint for consumption and decided now to relight it. Inhaling deeply, swim was abruptly reminded of the intensely intoxicating properties of Nitrous Oxide. Thinking about this, in combination with the Marijuana and Alprazolam, sent swim into a deeply dissociative stupor, and in an attempt to rise to his feet, he felt a distinct weight pull him back down with a heavily unwarranted gravity. After several attempts he found himself balanced and after what seemed like a blink he was walking briskly to his apartment. He made it to the front door, stumbling haplessly into his landlord while slurringly calling, "please hold the door!" The stairs proved extremely difficult to ascend, leaving swim sweaty palmed and tightly gripping the banister. Finally in his apartment, he headed straight for bed with a book. The words were hard to focus on and he turned to the flicker-box television. It had been just over 1.5 hours since ingestion and swim was already wanting to sleep it off. The remaining intoxication is a blur of mildly amusing events, food amalgamations, and scribbled illegible writing, which swim last dated with the time at about 5 hours post ingestion. He awoke the next day to a quiet and clean apartment, with a stack of wildly incessant rambling papers on psychedelics and the noosphere slipping off his bed. A less than enlightening evening of an intoxicating stupor had resulted in a less than enlightening dissertation on absolutely nothing. Perhaps useful for the 'black-out' drinkers seeking a blurred night of seamlessly dizzying inebriation, high dose Aprazolam is (for swim) less than an impressive or useful tool in the psychonaut/magicians chest.

Swim had an encounter with Alpralozam last night.

Swims background: Swim lives at home with his dad and is a freshman at a local university. He lives in a quiet neighborhood outside of a (somewhat) small, college town.

Swim's experience:

He started by snorting 1mg and taking 1.5 more orally in the basement of his house right next to the computer while reading up on forums of alprazolam.

Swim wanted to get to the point of amnesia (which is usually achieved at 4mg) and document as much as he could to recall what he did the previous night.

Now at 2.5 mg an hour after ingestion, he decided he wanted to take a few more (.5mg peachies) ending at 6.5mg all together.

After feeling the 4 extra mg of xnanx kick in, he felt like he should have a drink or two. Swim downed two beers and waited for a bit. Surprisingly enough Swim does remember everythign that happened (for the most part)

while on 6.5mg of alprazolam and 2 drinks he took a walk around his neighborhood. It was somewhat a bad idea due to the way swim looked drunk.

It had snowed earlier that day (more of a slush/sleet) and froze over everything.
Half way through the walk while listening to shpongle he slipped on an ice covered sidewalk and bruised the palm of his hand and smacked his head off of the ground. Swim wasn't too hurt and decided to keep walking.

After making it home (stumbling and trying to keep his eyes focused on one thing) he decided that it was time to relax and turned on the xbox and play a game. (this is the part where swim doesn't remember anything)

Swim woke up in his bed to his father asking him something along the lines of "how could you sleep on the couch until 8am without your neck being stiff." Having no idea how he woke ended up in his own bed, he went along with it and just said "i dunno"

Whatever swim did between the time of playing xbox to when he woke up in his bed will never be known. Swim also never did document anything sadly.

Swin got a prescription from her doctor for anxiety, as she read many horror stories about xanax, she was reluctant to take it. This Friday, she was kind of nervous because she had an important meeting at 5p.m. so I guess it was THE day.
At 1pm swin decided to pop a tablet, she kept working on her desk, about 30 minutes later she started feeling so sleepy. Swin only remembers sleeping on the chair, sleeping on the desk, waking up and going to the shop to buy a drink. It was amazing, 1 mg of alprazolam can do magic. She was in a dream state, walking like a zombie. She made some calls she hardly remembers. At the meeting she felt alright, but she also felt dissociated, like absent. It was scary.
So far, this has been the strongest drug she has taken (besides clonazepam and lorazepam), unbelievable it has also been the lowest dose.

swim told me that a few years ago when he first was doing it, 1-2mgs would make him feel like he was on a nice pill form of alcohol but better. swim hasnt used it for a very long time though.



swim told me that he took 1.5mg's the other day and it just made him sleepy. his experience with valium was that it sucked and DEF!! made him just wanna sleep but xanax always had a nice buzz to it. Important side note from swim was that he had been up for about 26 hrs and was already very tired , but he said when he takes pain killers, it doesnt matter how tired he is, they actually give him a little energy with the euphoria. do any swiys get a nice buxx for xanax when taken at a moderate dose, or does it basically just knock them out??

It took a whole bottle of xanax and half a bottle of wine to even have any effects. Of course, that was being taken to the ER and put onto a heart respirator....in case of respiratory failure. Also, some blood was taken. No real traces of xanax swim's unsure.

Just woke up feeling peaceful, like an Ambien trip would be. Some flashbacks, and lots of memory loss.

Swim has some crazy times with benzos.

Ok, to start off, Swim has an pretty experienced drug palette. He has used lorazepam, alprazolam, and diazepam in decent doses and several times each.
Swim obtains 15 2mg bars. Lovely. Swim eats 1mg in the morning. Swim is still very sober, not feeling fucked up like he usually gets from 1mg. Pops another .5mg, smokes some pot. Swim is fucked the hell up. No memory but in fragments from here on out. Swim's is at his friends house listening to Birdman smoking pot. Swim's friend snorts some bars, pops some, smokes pot over a few hours. Swim goes to get food for Swim. Swim eats and snorts half a bar he thinks. Swims friend gets out the nitrous. Swim does a balloon or two, Swims friend does boxes, both forget it all. Total fucking waste.

Swim is unable to even focus his eyes on something, and barely stays awake. Swim can not mentally focus on anything. He is gone.

Swim and his friend decide to have sex, and swim is needless to say, incapable of much coordinated movement. Swim wants to note that he and friend already have a current sexual relationship, and it had nothing to do with the drugs. That was another time:) After slamming his friend into the floor face first by accident, Swim freaks out.

Then he realizes 12 hours have passed and he has to go home. Oh no, Swim thought alprazolam would be out in less than 8 hours time! Shit!

Swim somehow gets into his car, drives 30 minutes home at 1am, and gets inside into his room and into bed. Oh my god, no understatement, swim is BLESSED to be alive. Swim can remember like, a screenshot of the drive home. He had to keep only ONE eye open because he was crosseyed and could not drive. He kept talking to himself to stay awake, and had his music super loud too to keep him focused, as he told himself.

Jesus, never like any of my other very safe, controlled, responsible benzo use.

Swim woke up in the morning, feeling about 1.5mg or so high. What the hell?! Swim is miserable. Swim is so fucked up, and learning about what happened the night before.

Swim sobers up the day after that, and STILL had BAD memory loss of his day just sobering up! You gotta be kidding me. 2 1/2 days of memory GONE from about 3 to 3.5mg alprazolam and some pot.

Never doing more than 1mg at a time EVER again.

He had to keep only ONE eye open because he was crosseyed and could not drive.

That sounds so familiar. When SWIM was 16 and he had a motorcycle he had his first touch with alprazolam. He found his dad's old xanors and thought trying them out. He started out very carefully, taking one half of 0,25mg pill, but after time passed he kept napping one here and one there, eventually snorting them and walking from wall to wall. That's when he got the oh-so-bright idea to get some beer. He lives in a countryside so he jumped on his motorcycle to get to town. He bought the beers and manages to fall just 20m from a hospital's emergency room door on his way home. He just collects the beers that were splattered over the road and continnues his journey, completely ignoring a man that came out of the hospital and told SWIM that it'd propably be better to leave the bike. Or maybe he was more demanding and that's just SWIM's memory.

According to his memory fragments he didn't get home, but went for a few beers in a bar. He had made himself a fake id. Very bad idea. He has no idea how much alprazolam he had consumed, but most likely at least 5mg. After the beers it's dark out there and he really struggles to keep on road, and at one point he found himself driving on the side of the road and that peps him up a little. Looking with one eye was really the only way to see the road, because with two eyes open the left side of the road was on the right side and vice versa. He's really lucky to not have hit the telegraph post on the side of the road.

With some luck he gets home and starts watching a movie with his brothers, only to wake up several hours later with a bottle in his hand.

Car Keys should be removed from people who are under the influence of ANY drug. DUI is inexcusable

Swim is vehemently opposed to driving under the influence of anything but low dose opiates and cocaine. Anything else is a no no to him. Swim would never had driven had he been more aware of what he was really doing. Swim had sworn to never drive intoxicated, but he still did.

Swim did have his car keys put far away and always does so he is not tempted to leave. While high on the benzos, he panicked and forgot about the dangers of driving. He should have called a cab, or family, or a friend, but he did not even think about doing anything but driving himself home.

True, SWIM regretted the incident heavily. He wondered what had gotten into him and was really depressed because of it for some time.
