Apart from the negative story, do you not think the artist is spot on with his representation of the paranoia and schizophrenic thoughts felt by someone on LSD? This is like romanticizing insanity, and it's done brilliantly.

The executoin of this task is artistically brilliant although I would consider this as an unknown substance-LSD trip in an anime future horror scenario.
Cool stuff def. and comes very close, but imho you can´t describe an LSD trip. the absolute zen like state of fullfillness and time standing still, the kataleptic pit fall between laughter and crying at the same time(model of "shizophrenia"), the overhelming waves of the sourrounding smashing in....

Very cool animation but it doesn't seem anything like an LSD trip from what SWIM's experienced.

Yeah, all that horror stuff is something I´d never think of if I had done LSD at any time, or cutting myself, the floor turning into waves, true, but no stumblin´ or involuntarily falling, like an alcohol intoxicated or like having inhaled ether.

Looks like a good example of why people with issues should not take psychedelics to monkey. He's never seen anything dark and scary like that, he tends to see/experience very colorful, absurd, divine, fantastic, cosmic joke type things. Psychededlics manifest what's in your mind so if you're seeing shit like that you should probably seek counciling.
I think the continuous but arb flow of thoughts, some of them in a different accent/voice, is definitely what reminsd SWIM of acid. Especially the "Now why's that child there? Why's he crying?" and "this must be what they were talking about!" part.
dosent seam much like a lsd trip to me,at least from all the experience reports ive read, and all the talking the big lizard in my backyard has done about it.nice video none the less.
Should I be worried if he notices similarities between the character's thoughts and his own? :P

LSD trips are something thats different to everyone.Swims first lsd trip was not horrific in any way, infact it was rather beautiful and swim wishes he could find the joy in just being alive that he had back then.

Description:
Our protagonist happens to be on the highest point of his LSD trip and took some DMT right there, so follow his trip as it goes in a strange direction the moment he went to make himself some toast. Incase you think you don´t understand this movie, you´re wrong.
Turn off the lights, pull the speakers and bass a bit up or put your headphones on, relax and let it flow into you for the next 2 minutes. I´d actually recommend, if you´re interested in it and like it, to watch it twice, and maybe to read more about it at the ending menu.
There´s one secret in the movie. And damn, I challenge you to find it. ~HP Lovecraft (Tim Frommeyer)

while much more horrific then experiences SWIM has had on lsd(thats not to mention mushrooms because theyve been far far worse) SWIM thought that the actual flow of the piece did extraordinarily well to interpret the thought process and atmosphere of a heavy trip. SWIM enjoyed it
damn that's a hard fuckin' trip!
