SWIM usually takes between 10 and 20 MS Contin pills (30mg) to come down off crack cocaine. SWIM takes these with alcohol (SWIM knows the dangers, no lectures please). SWIM has never taken benzo's before but SWIM's friend has given her 6 small yellow pills with DDSA printed on one side. SWIM thinks these are some kind of downer(?). They are 5mg each. SWIM would like to know what the difference is between benzo's and opiates. If SWIM were to take these pills after smoking crack cocaine and drinking how will they make her feel. Should she take all of them?

Benzos are by no means a replacement for opiates, especially one such as ms contin. Benzos are cns depressants so mixing with other downers is bad. You cannot quit cold turkey and expect no withdrawal symptoms by just using a benzo. It sounds like you have Valium though if its 5mg. Dont know about DDSA though.

WOW, Benzos is NOT something to play with!

Benzos withdrawls are some of the hardest to go through. Said to be the worst!
There's NO cold turkey with Benzos! try not to subsitute from opiates.
