Imovane, Zimovane, Rhovane, Amoban, Ximovan, Limovan are some brand names. Are there any legal ways of obtaining zopiclone, short of somehow getting prescribed? No OTC's, are there?

Not in the West mate, can't speak for the East. You can probably order it over the Net if you look around, but be careful with sleepers - high risk of dependency, as there is with all hypnotics and sedatives and Zopiclone can leave you quite sedated in the morning with a nasty metallic taste in your mouth, if it works at all; a lot of people find it keeps them awake!

To be fair, assuming its not scheduled, you could probably order the
chemical in bulk from a chemical supplier. Of course that would
probably require you convince the supplier your a business with a
reason to purchase the chemical and a larger purchase then you'd
probably actually need.

Seems like there are
<a href="http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=6627" target="_blank">probably more
agreeable</a> hypnotic/sedatives out there (like the good old
benzodiazepines).

Imovane is incredible, better than any benzo I have experienced... it is readily prescribed in Canada (I work in a clinic) and they aren't shy about scripting 30-60 at a time. Only problem with them (for me anyways) is one makes you kind of tired, two rocks you and has some amnesic properties. The metallic taste sticks around till mid morning with one, but with two it stays for about a day and a half. Three left the taste for about half a week. The taste is terrible, might I add.
