Will the CWE method work with ibuprofen and codeine?

It should work but results won't be 100% perfect. Put through a coffee filter once, some ibuprofen may remain and all of the codeine may not make it through. SWIM's used the method with ibuprofen/codeine pills before and has had satisfactory results. Just watch the dose as always and don't combine with alcohol.

Yes this xtraction seems to be less bitter to drink than with paracetamol although its a bit more gluggier and filters slower. The brufen holds its water content more and needs a little squeezing to get all the water out...careful not to pop the filter bags.......

It's probably less bitter because there is less codeine in there (codeine=bitter).
Cleopatra found that the best way not to pop the filter bag was to use two of 'em, one inside the other. She always squeezed the remaining water out and was surprised by just how much extra she was able to get out of it. She always used paracetamol though because ibuprofen took way too long to filter.
Swim always uses two filters as a precaution as its a pain if it splits and one has to start a new:mad:
