Barbiturates: Can They Be Extracted?
can anyone tell me how to extract the pure drug from the pill form and its fillers

I've looked into this before and i'm somewhat sure that barbiturates are not water soluble, ie you can't use a water type extraction. It also depends on what the other ingredients are, i've found that a lot of pills that contain barbs also have sometimes up to 4 other active ingredients, so you really need to take those into consideration too.

ne1 know if barbituartes are still avalible in the uk as i belive most g.p's dont perscrib them ne more?

yea I was wonderin the same with the etraction? the Barbiturates I have seen have tylenol and caffiene. if Barbiturates are not water soluable wouldnt it be possible to use some form of non-polar solvent?

Warning: if your thinking of shooting barbiturates then be really careful. It screws veins, causes wacky, self destructive behavior & is worse to get off than smack...
