Love drugs, but not more than yourself

It seems to me that every1 in here shares a common trait-we all do, or have done drugs. But what strikes me as bein odd is that sum ppl seem to have lost their love 4 themselves thru doin this. I personalli believe that drugs give u a better understanding of urself, and those around u, an that they are ultimately there to make u, the user, feel good. But u shud jus rememba that drugs r onli an aspect of who u r, ur not defined by the drugs u do. Yes they play a mjor part in mani ppls lives, but they are not the core of ur being. Never love the drugs more than urself, see drugtaking as exploring ur inner-self, rather than an escape route away from u. As a drug user u have a general curiousity about urself that makes u endevour 2 explore everi possible aspect of urself, that's not a weakness, its a strength. Love the drugs, but love urself more cos sooner or lata, ones gotta give, don't let it be u...................

Exactly, use drugs to expand your mind, not overpower it. Use drugs to enhance life, not replace it. If you can't accept yourself or the world around you without drugs then your just lying to yourself.

Addiction sucks, and I think most of us have experienced it at some point, and many of us are goin through it right now.

yes addiction does suck, you just gotta keep going. If you f**k up and give in, try again tomorrow, just never stop trying. Lawzie I liked your words they actually sorta inspired me although I already did have a hatred for people who abuse drugs without realizing their purpose or theirselves.

bad things with drugs/me

is

1. believed in reality one point of my life..(mistake)

2.agreed with the government (bastards)

3. drugs showed me the real deal..(thank you)

one thing i have learned from drugs is..

What is reality?... other then this place we have formed from a place that was once all vastness of land

and a place where we 'beings' were formed by a greater force we will never understand..(possibly when we die)

it is this personal freedom that caused the government to be slowly but surely be formed..

the same government that drills it in your head from a babie that this is the only reality here...go to school follow the laws and get a job...

When i started on stronger drugs i couldnt help but bring up questions..

Who are we?

What is this giberish we speak?

where am i?

what gives them the right to tell me what to do?

in otherwords..

What is the specific point of life..

friends,family,love,wealth

then i remember i know..to get a a high paying job..to what... buy everything you always want..to live in your huge house...till when... the end of your life..

and reflect back with questions like was it worth it..why is this it...what do i do now... die?

thats exactly why they dont want us americans touching mind altering substances...(we might scramble the reality they have drilled in..and and actually understand things they way the really are) ''not as this highly important thing we all think it is.thats what they want ya to think..(reality exist)so there establishment remains and doesnt fail like every other settlement.....

in otherwords thoughts might surface that they never wanted..

THE TRUTH

as far as addiction goes..

i use alot of drugs to replace it(this reality)..just like magik said..

to me this is a very interesting subject..

How i would rather touch things that naturally come from the ground..over everything else..which prob. is ethier man made..or has to point at all

maybe im full of anger and hatred towards this governments boardgame..

or im just tired of reality..

hell what is REALITY ..(man made thats what..) 'a thing many believe in to deeply.. a thing that can be easily removed'.. exact words i perceived off a specific drug..)

i can agree.. ive learned to love myself as the being..only a being who always strives for the truth ..not a lie i might regret ever believing one day

i must go smoke now..

You know in yourself if you have a drug problem or not. Many know they have a problem and keep using, because they like to get high. Some actually "recover"... more power to both types- do what YOU want to do, don't even let your family change your mind. Drug addicts are persecuted for wanting to feel better, or normal. Non-users don't know what a bitch a jones is- it's not as simple as it seems. Hats off to the users trying to represent and go clean. Good luck. Maybe someday????

This just goes to prove the theory I tried to explain to my counselor a few years back when he asked me why i hung out with drug users. (they = drug users)They listen, they think, and they know that they don't have everything figured out. Maybe that puts usa step belowthe individual who thinks he/she knows enough to feel satisfied, but I'd rather be truthful with myself than satisfied with ignorance.

Yes, I know not all nor even the majority of drug users fit my description.
