What things from the past would you like to see make a return?

My top three would have to be:

A few old friends lost over the years

Now ain't that the truth? I'm sure everyone can relate to that one for any one of a number of reasons....in SWIMs case living like a nomad for too many years.

What about the clangers?......apologies to many of you whom this will be lost upon.....ahhh, ladle me up another dose of the soup dragon

A large, "unsinkable" luxury ocean-liner that you are a real nobody unless you take it's maiden voyage. Herd all the rich bastards on board - and go find an iceberg.

This should be done every 10 years or so.

Seriously Drugluver, I think this worth calling. What exactly is so missed about this group of ill-informed cowards & freaks whose idea of a giggle is to terrorise innocent people of a different hue, & create fire hazards under cover of darkness & a pillow-case? The sense of community & belonging? The good deeds & charity work? The songs around the camp-fire?

I'm all for freedom of thought, speech & expression, but with that has to come the courage of your convictions and some ability & willingness to defend your statements. You've been back to this thread since my last post, so what's the deal here?

How can you bring back something that isnt gone. The KKK is still around, they may not be in the media as much any more and they arent as openly seen as they used to be in most areas. But they are still there, in an area a bit north of SWIMs town the KKK still holds public meetings, with flyers up around town informing everyone who cares to read it when and where these meetings are. Sure they arent going around lynching people and burning crosses and what not, is this what your speaking of? What good does that do for their cause?
