Everything that happens during your existance was meant to happen. You may think you have "free will" and can "plan", but all of that was meant to happen, good or bad. Your entire life is a dream that was "meant to be", infact, human existance is only a dream.
That things where meant to happen for a "reason" like for some greater plan, is bull. People suffering, getting killed left and right, innocent creatures getting stomped.
Its madness, all of reality is insane, or just doen't care.
Walking the line of reality is walking the fine line between sanity and insanity, some of us my fall off the wall and get lost for a while but get back up and start walking it again. Some fall off and never return, while still some fall off the other side and become crappy politcians

I think everyone has a plan, but they dont have to follow it. Plans are "Follow me for best result" but you can always say, i want to do things the fun way or the way that makes me most money. Ya know what im sayin?
Hope is what keeps people alive in desperate situations.
A reaction follows an action. Since we choose our actions, I can't agree with the fate theory, but it's fun to dream about.

I dont look @ it that way. I brought god in 2 the picture.
If god exists then we will never find out. If he doesnt exist we will also never know. But if he exists than life must be a candid camera or something. Its 2 see if we r as good as we say we r and in the end we either go 2 hell or 2 heaven based on how good r lives have been and that is the end.

I'm agnostic and disagree with this thread entirely. Even if I wasn't agnostic, many religions have the ideas of free will and predestination coinciding relatively. I won't explain it since I don't know the details but Judaism is one such religion.
If you believe predestination is all that we have and what we believe is free will is actually predestination knowing our decisions, that is completley contradicting the idea of predestination since we still have the ability to make our choices. Also, free will is different from preference. Free will is not choosing chocolate over vanilla. Free will is deciding between a path of good or bad.
everything was supposed to happen this way? so some intelligent being had to devise that plan .. why would he waste the time?
