No, that's not a myth, ghb really increase your libido.
In a certain way, you can compare ghb effects with alcool effects, with a more peaceful feeling.

Some like it a lot, because of the relaxed feeling and libido increase. But others do not, because it can make you pass out or because they find the feeling uninteresting. It is very comparable to alcohol, with which you won't go uncounscious so easy. I like it though.

It can be great, but it's a bummer in case your partner passes out. Be carefull with the dose.

i feel stupid, i don't know what ghb is or stands for. you guys use a lot of terms for dope i am not used to like poppers, mdma, ghb, i am kinda young and don't know a whole lot about it though
GHB = Gamma HydroxyButyrate
MDMA = 3,4 MethyleneDioxyMethAmphetamine
Poppers = Either Amyl Nitrate, Butyl Nitrate or Isobutyl Nitrate...They make orgasm's EXTRA special ;D

GHB is liquid X, problem is for me I can't cum on G. GHB is better if you know how to dose it, for you do not have the hang over X gives you. You get most of the same benefits but with very little side effects. But the big thing is NEVER NEVER mix G and alcohol togther, it can make for a bad night and possible a hospital visit

Mostly when GHB is used 4 sex its a crime. Ive seen it happen so many times in discos, seein some fuckin criminal putting things in girls drinks. Of course im a fuckin hero and i have someone get this guy a good beating but im worried 4 all the times i dont see it. Im sure GHB is great 4 sex but I just wanted 2 share my xperience on people using ghb in combination with sex.

GHB is indeed the date rape drug, although it has no use if you would put it in a girls drink, she will get in coma or die....
Anyway there can be discussed about that a lot and that wasn't my intention to do.
And I don't get horny from GHB, neither do I from GBL.

It sometimes makes me horny, and it sometimes doesn't. More often does though.
Regarding its use as a date rape drug, I have a suspicion this use is overpublicised, though I can imagine that it works. Doing that is abominable.
fact is that it makes many people horny, and that some women may feel "up for it" and later regret this choice. But the same could be said about alcohol, and abour cocaine. If the substance was given to someone without their consent, then even this temporary 'consent' to sex while under the influence is not really consent. It is, but it isn't.
But I think that alcohol has been and probably will remain for a long time the number one date rape drug. Even though most of the time thevictim drank themselves into oblivionbeforehand, without much help from the perpetrator.
Oh, and I'd like to add that I am "guilty" of one of the great taboos surrounding ghb -
I do mix it with alcohol now and then. I find this very pleasant and consciously keep doses of each pretty low to avoid the real risk of death through respiratory depression. NEVER more than a gram of GHB (if you cannot measure your dose, forget this!!) and 2 beers or equivalent.

rule 2 : don't do more than 3 grams of ghb. too much is too much, and peopel have bene known to overdose and even fall into a coma from ghb alone.
rule 3: don't combine indiscriminately with all osrts of things. read up on this in the relevenat places, but there are enough reports that confirm the danger of combining mdma and ghb at high doses (though the combo is a popular one).

So where would 1 get this from? cant imagine going to dealers and asking for this but if i can get it how much should i take, i used to drink heavy but had to quit so recently took poppers and love the sex on that so what my wife and i are looking for is something that gives us a little confidence whem going out on the pull then something that gives us great sex but not feeling out of it more so like the poppers effect... if only poppers would last about an hour that would give us the confidence and ample time to do the deed.. You can start with a 1 - 2.5 grams dose...Don't take more if you are a beginner. And most important...never take more if you feel good, also if you feel nothing! It's very tricky stuff, so be carefully. You can take a new dose after maybe 3 a 4 hours...but if you take a second dose...you need less than your first dose.

Thats what we are looking for something that makes us more relaxed and gives us blinding sex not something that screws our lives up again, had that with the alcohol cant go back there. So a small amount should give us the confidence rather than screw us up?

I have just been told that GHB can be very dangerous, please tell me is this the case? i really cant get hooked on something else the alcohol was bad enough and 4 me/us it had devistating effects (we need something that mellows us down) not makes us evil like the alcohol did, i have said it over and over about poppers what a lovely feeling but it does'nt last long enough, this is the type of effect we are looking for nothing too potent...Cheers

GHB is a very tricky drug to get right. It's one of my persoanl faves
for sex, espically after a night of doing E at a club. But, it is
tricky - I've found myself snoozing for an hour or two nap a few times
while my partner was good to go.
But, when you DO get your GHB dose right - mother fuck, its like you're
meeting the porn-star version of yourself. The sex is HOT, the kind of
hot that you'll look back on it for masterbation-fantasy material later
on down the road.
It makes me feel very primal, animalistic, insatiable, I want to
consume every part of my partner, my erections are
stronger/harder/longer, orgasms are insane, touch is amazing.
I find it also brings out very 'piggish' tendancy in me, sweat, armpits, ordour, etc drive me nuts.
The trick is getting the dose right, and for every person it'll be
different, you need to be carefull in measuring out the dose, keep mind
of when you did your last one before doing your next one, and be very
aware of how you feel.
What I'd recomend - buy a batch in bulk, not indivial doses, and figure
it out from there, as each batch can be different, what works for batch
A, may be to strong or to weak for batch B, so trying to 'get your dose
right' if your buying from diff batches will be damn near impossible.

True, I've heard alot of 'horror stories' of people Ging out, comas,
being sick, etc. But, seems like if you are being smart/carefull, it'd
be tricky to accidently do that much unless you've been drinking, but -
if you've been drinking, dont do GHB, simple as that.
Also, the doses strenght raises rather quickly, the "strenght"
difference between a half dose/full dose, is much smaller then a
difference between a full dose, and a full+half dose (if that makes
sense), the strenght increases exponentially.
So, if you do 1 dose, and find its not enough, dont double upto 2 doses
the next time, as 2X the dose is more like 4X as strong and not 2X as
strong.
And, if youre mixing it with amphetamines, you'll need more GHB, but
keep that in mind if you goto do GHB without the amphetamines, as while
maybe before you could take 2-3 doses at once while high on other
drugs, doing that much sober can OD you, cause you to G out or worse.
Think the longest I've been out for is maybe 2 hours once, and I should
of known better as I was still feeling lightheaded/dizzy at the time of
doing my 2nd dose, I should of waited but figured 'what the fuck', and
then ended up passed out for 2 hours while leaving my BF rather annoyed
:P
