got clomethiazine?

Hi -
clomethiazine is a vitmain B-1 derivative; it is a product of bisulfite cleavage, I believe, then chlorination of the subsequent alcohol, possibly with thionyl chloride...has a brand name but cannot remember off hand...can post more info if there is any interest.
Dosage is in incremnents of 192 mg (5 grains)...it is an old time medicine, so old that the dosage was originally measured in grains, hence the strange # of mg in the dosage. This is for the HCl salt, not the fb.
I have heard it compared to methaqualone in effect, but, unlike methaqualone, it cannot be smoked.
