detoxing- safe to combine muscle relaxants and benzodiazepines?

Is it alright to take valium and muscle relaxers at the same time when trying to detox?

hi,as someone who just recently got clean on my own at home...i used clonazepam 2 mg(klonopins)

as needed..be careful but supprigly your body can tolerate a pretty large amount..i don't know your age,health level or length of time or amount your are using as is all these are factors in your situation but for myself(and i can only tell you my exp. ...please be careful with your own choices)i tried to wait as long as possible after my last fix until i was getting in too much pain and then i took 2 2mg klonopins and believe it or not they actually knocked me out for a few blissful hours and then after that i took 1-2 pills everytime i woke back up...i can't tell you how immensly well they worked for me(i have tried soooo many times to unsucessfully kick cold)i still had all the symptoms and actually if at all possible if you have a friend/partner to be there to help you it is very nice..they can monitor you so you don't take too much,help you to the bathroom,bring you water etc...thankfully my boyfriend was there for me...the pills really knock you out and make you loopy...he said that i was screaming to "cut off my legs" and he caught me in the bathroom about to use and i don't remeber any of that..soooo my point is if you have the good fortune to have some one help definaley ask them(i know that sometimes that just isn't an option unfortunalty heroin really isolates you and people are particularly judgemental and ridiculously frightened if you tell them you use) anyway i digress...i used the klonopins for the first 2-3 days( i think i ended up using around 20-25 pills all together but please rember that what worked for me :> ) and it was a godsend

it not only helps with sleeping,pain,the dreaded leg kicks but is also used as an anti-anxitiey medicine

what muscle relaxants are you planning on using?

i find that somas are f**king great for the post kick backaches and leg pain...i can tell you this.. kicking is HARD but i'm now in the post kick "what the hell am i gonna do all day" phase and to honest i have fallen off a few times but i am really trying to stop and stay completley clean...hang in there you CAN do it..just be kind to yourself,do it when you are really ready to commit to it and don't beat yourself up if it dosen't work out...i used for years and tried multiple time to kick but i just wasn't commited and finally this time it was just right...if you have any questions please post and hopefully i can offer a friendly ear....hang in there,be safe and know that everything will be ok!

I agree, kicking cold is so hard. The hundred times I tried to quit I tried everything. Like coke, xanax. I wound up stuck on them, so actually I'm addicted to everything. You will think your going to die, and wish you would, but if you really want it and are tired of the life, you will do it. I hope you make it. There are many out there that have.

Most treatment centers will give someone coming off hard drugs something to help them initially, but only if they're going thru a rough de-tox.

to lost. the problem somtimes using benzos is that u can either get hooked on them, especially if using them for more than 2 weeks, orif u take to many u get the "i dont care" attitude which might make u want to take again, i useddiazapam for a detox once and it took the edge off a bit but i still coudnt sleep, i ended up relapsing after a week.


in the end i went todrug treatment centre, where i was prescibed buprenorphine (subetex), after tritation whis is slowly working up to a dose that stops the craving, i am ok and it works for me, the only other alternative was methadone which i didnt want because with subetex u cant use on top of it as it is a blocker good luck, remember 7-10 days rattle or a lifetime of misery.U.S.AUse Dont Abuse
