i have actually wondered the same thing. Swim had a dream about
having some pure diazapam powder, and was thinking of injecting, what
hsould it be mixed with?

distilled bottler water or boiled tap water. be careful with dosages, maybe divide by 4 your typical dose and start from there. please tell if theres any interesting thing in this (a particular rush, whatever)

its not water soliable i thought? I would maybe give it a run if
i knew what i was doing and i knew i was being safe about it.
Perhaps saline?

i wouldn't go injecting benzodiazepines, or even snorting them for that matter. most of them are not water soluable. i've had stupid friends try it before, with absolutely no results. they are meant to be eaten.
one of the few benzos that can be injected from pill form is midazolam.

and has anybody tried shooting out of a vial? ive seen them around here, but doubt if they're worth it since they may not bring a rush though i feel great when the benzos start kicking.
Bro the 2ml vials(10mg) of diazapam state whether they are iv or im.To
be honest i've heard it is a nice warm rush with a good smash but
depending on tolerance u might need a 5ml or 10ml dose to make it worth
while anywayz only u know how much will smash u.See how u
go just don't mix piss&dope with pills!!

Ever hear of twilight sleep? I'm pretty sure that is a val drip. My gues is bacereostatic water ad small doses of Val.

o is it IV or I'm. I remember my wisdom teeth out and it was IV.
im stands 4 intramuscular(into the muscle) sorry 4 the confusion.99% of
vials i see,(everything from morphine to "phenergan")have the method of
delivery to the body printed on them. I'm not trying to be an
authority just sharing the collective knowledge.Cheers

<b style="font-weight: bold;">Excessive anxiety prior to surgical procedures:[/b]
Adults:
Usually 50 mcg/kg to a maximum of 4 mg given sublingually (1 to 2 hours
before surgery) or i.m. (2 to 3 hours before surgery). As with all premedicant
drugs, the dose should be individualized. Doses of other CNS depressant
drugs should ordinarily be reduced.
When a rapid onset of action is required, lorazepam may be given i.v.,
15 to 20 minutes before surgery. The usual i.v. dose is 44 mcg/kg or 2.0
mg total, whichever is smaller.
I.V. doses in excess of 2 mg should be restricted to patients of unusual
size. A dose of 2 mg should not ordinarily be exceeded in patients over
50 years of age. Doses of other CNS depressants should ordinarily be reduced.
Equipment necessary to maintain a patent airway should be immediately
available prior to i.v. administration of lorazepam.
<b style="font-weight: bold;">Status Epilepticus:[/b]
Adults:
The usual recommended initial dose of lorazepam is 0.05 mg/kg up to a maximum
of 4 mg given by slow i.v. injection. If seizures are terminated, no additional
lorazepam is required. If seizures continue or recur after a 10 to 15
minute observation period, an additional i.v. dose of 0.05 mg/kg may be
administered. If the second dose does not result in seizure control after
another 10 to 15 minute observation period, other measures to control
status epilepticus should be employed. A maximum of 8 mg only, of lorazepam,
should be administered during a 12 hour period.
<b style="font-weight: bold;">Administration:[/b]
The sublingual tablet, when placed under the tongue, will dissolve in approximately
20 seconds. The patients should not swallow for at least 2 minutes to
allow sufficient time for absorption.
When given i.m., lorazepam injection, undiluted, should be injected
deep into a muscle mass.
Lorazepam injectable can be used with atropine sulfate, narcotic analgesics,
other parenterally used analgesics, commonly used anesthetics and muscle
relaxants. The use of scopolamine with lorazepam injection is not recommended
since this combination has been associated with a higher incidence of
adverse reactions.
Immediately prior to i.v. use, lorazepam injection must be diluted with
an equal volume of compatible solution. When properly diluted the drug
may be injected directly into the vein or into the tubing of an existing
i.v. infusion. The rate of injection should not exceed 2 mg/minute. Parenteral
drug products should be inspected visually for particulate matter and
discoloration prior to administration. Do not use if solution is discolored
or contains a precipitate.
Lorazepam injection is compatible for dilution purposes with the following
solutions: Sterile Water for Injection, USP, Sodium Chloride Injection,
USP, 5% Dextrose Injection, USP, Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride Injection,
USP with benzyl alcohol, Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP with
parabens, Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP with benzyl alcohol.
Directions for dilution for i.v. use:
Aspirate the desired amount of lorazepam injection into the syringe, then
slowly aspirate the desired volume of diluent. Pull back slightly on the
plunger to provide additional mixing space. Immediately mix contents thoroughly
by gently inverting the syringe repeatedly until a homogenous solution
results. Do not shake vigorously since this will result in air entrapment.
That seems to pertain to the subject, I hope this helps.

SWIM has taken 0.5 mg generic alprazolam crushed them into a powder. Then mixed with ethanol alcohol and injected after filtered through a cotton. With noticeable effects and without any adverse effects except a slight burning sensation most likely from the ethanol at the injection site that subsided with in 10 minutes after injection. SWIM knows this is obviously dangerous to his health and does not recommended this route of administration this any figment of his imagination. RESEARCH THIS BEFORE DREAMING ABOUT THIS ADMINISTRATION. Any nightmares associated with this delusion are beyond SWIM's influence.
^^^ Nightmares associated with this delusion include thrombo-embolism (from particulate matter) and death.
Pills are NOT meant to be injected folks!
If SWIY is looking to reduce dose of benzos required for desired effect or to reduce the time/intensity of onset then rectal administration is by far the safest option, and HAS to be preferred.

I apreceate your honesty, SWIM knew injecting pills was a horrible idea. Do you think SWIM has done any perminent damage to his body?
As long as SWIYs limbs are not swollen/painful/hot and there are no lumps/bumps or bits with pus/discharge or areas with red streaks "tracking" up SWIY may well have been lucky. If SWIY were to develop chest pain (worse on breathing in) and shortness of breath then this could indicate Pulmonary Embolism.
If SWIY is at all concerned (about anything) then they should seek medical attention sooner rather than later. Bear in mind that any medical advice SWIY takes is, and treatment resulting from, is protected by Dr/Patient confidentiality and CANNOT be disclosed to third parties unless there is a risk to others.

SWIM has red lines up and down his veins but he has had those for years from SWIMs heroin dreams. Everything else in SWIMs health seems quite tip top. Thank you very much SWIM told me his is quite relieved and apreceated!

Except for SWIAsplinteredfawn, it ther SWIY else who have injected, or had any benzodiazepines injections ?
SWIM has a lot of Midazolam and Clonazepam ampoules(Roche) and generic Diazepam ampoules, but wants to know more about it before trying, like hows the onset, does it give any "rush", is it more sedating, and so on?
Psychonaut: SWIJ once injected Midazolam. See here...

Thanks J, very useful info, though SWIM still thinks he'll wait with the Midazolam iv untill he has a benzodiazepines antidote.
In SWIMs opinion iv'ing Midazolam without medical supervision is just too risky, because of it's very strong respiratory depression.
Diazepam carries much less of a risk than Midazolam, and Clonazepam is safer as well, so he'll probaply try one of those first, and will report ofcourse.

SWIM obtained a 5mg vial of midazolam HCl and will let you know the results if AND when he can get hold of a syringe, but as of now, he has no clue how to get one.
SWIM has never heard of injectable clonazopam, being its not a water soluble benzo,u sure its not lorazapam(ativan). The three SWIM has ever seen or had, were givin in hospital setting.20mg diazapam(valium) IV,was a truama situatation(acid od) so SWIM got a double dose, and SWIM was floating.SWIM always gets 1mg shots of lorazapam(ativan) IV in hospitals, once swim got 2 shots within 3 hrs and was starting to float. Now the big daddy is when SWIM was given midazolam(versed) IV.zomg SWIM was in benzo bliss,SWIM was so high he saw the nurses doing the narcotics count for shift change and said "Can I have a doggie bag please".
