SWIMS got codeine pills he find swallowing them takes quite a large dosage. His pills r only codeine no additives only the stuff they make pills with (binders/filers) Now he was thinking of snorting them cuz theyr quite small... Isnt codeine non absorbable thru the nose tho>?

Codeine can be administered orally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and rectally. Rectal administration is considered as more efficient than oral (up to 125%).
Codeine cannot be safely administered by an intravenous injection as it may result in pulmonary oedema, facial swelling, dangerous release of histamines, and various cardiovascular effects. how the fuck can 25% more codeine be absorbed then ingested???
your max bioavaility(sp??) is 100% (IV)

It means that it has a125% more efficient rate for absortion... 125% more efficient than oral consumption... Such as where oral would be 80%... It would be + 125% to that 80...Not comparing to IV and or anything else referring tostrictly oral and rectal administration... How about Tramadol? Isn't that synthetic codeine? I tried snorting some yesterday, while drinking 6 eating some benzo's. I felt good afterwards http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif but not quite sure from what..?

If its considered something as "synthetic ____"... It is no longer codeine (or the drug that you are referring to as synthetic), but has transcended to another drug... Hence snorting my work for synthetic chemicals.
